No, he really doesn't. Any team could have had Davis for the cost of a waiver claim. Unless he lights it up at Charlotte and a team loses their catcher to injury, Davis has zero trade value.
Well, the whole point of this is that Dye struggles against righties and Bonderman is a really tough right-hander. Bonderman struggles with lefties. In any case, I hope Dye has another huge game if he's the guy in RF today.
The reason Ozzie batted Timo fifth was to break up the lefties and righties. Also, I would guess because Timo is good with RISP (even though I'm sure you don't want to hear that).
The idea of Gload playing RF at Comerica scares me but I wouldn't mind his bat in the lineup against Bonderman...
LF Podsednik
2B Willie
DH Everett
1B Konerko
RF Gload
CF Rowand
C Pierzynski
SS Uribe
3B Crede
5 lefties in the lineup against Bonderman would be great. I don't see Ozzie doing this though.
Is Crede using a lighter bat or something? I just watched a replay of his homerun tonight at WhiteSox.com and I didn't see his usual SLOOOW swing. He actually swung extremely fast through the ball and cranked it out.
Tiggers' fans still don't think that it's really Magg$'s knee...

GO SOX!!!
Dye turned it around tonight. Magg$ now appears to not even have a hernia, which was his original diagnosis. He is probably just lying and it's really his knee that's bothering him. I will take Dye at $10.15 million for 2 years over Magg$ at a gazillion dollars for 7 years and currently on the DL.
Dye vs Maggs: plus!
