  1. Those stats prove nothing! Nitetrain8601's eyes tell all! I think he is even a MLB talent scout. :headshake
  2. John Rocker/Kurt Angle has spoken and he said that Uribe is a better defensive SS than Ozuna.
  3. But Ozuna is a top 2 defensive SS in baseball.
  4. What in the hell does it matter how much better Ozuna is defensively at SS than Uribe? All that matters is that you said Ozuna is a better defensive SS than Uribe. And you are wrong.
  5. Ahhh, backtracking. You said that Ozuna was a better defensive SS than Uribe. You are wrong.
  6. You never said Uribe is a butcher at SS but you are trying to say that Ozuna is a better defensive SS than Uribe. That is just plain wrong. Keep in mind that I love Ozuna.
  7. You are wrong and many posters here are trying to tell you the same. Qwerty is even using stats to back the point. Uribe is a better defensive SS than Ozuna. Just because you saw Ozuna play SS in person doesn't mean he's better defensively than Uribe at the position.
  8. I find it funny that everyone is agreeing with me that Uribe is a better defensive SS than Ozuna. Thanks though. By the way, is there any room left on "Crede's Crew"? I just love that .225 AVG of his!
  9. Nope, I was just referring to defense and Uribe is a better defensive SS than Ozuna. You are wrong.

  11. I'm sure that some team will sign him once the 48 hours are up. No team will take on that $6.25 million contract for him though.
  12. Thanks for taking care of that ridiculous post for me. I'm still laughing at the stupidity of it.

  14. LOL, so now Ozuna is a better SS than Uribe? I'm not sure I can respond because I'm laughing too hard. Once again, you are dead wrong.
  15. He is from Oak Lawn, Illinois. He went to South Suburban Junior College. He was indeed a Sox fan growing up. He also apparently likes to drink. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6725
  16. I would agree with that move. Trade for Mackowiak and platoon him with Crede at 3B and also with Dye in RF. Start Mackowiak at 3B vs. righties and start Crede at 3B vs. lefties. Also, sometimes start Mackowiak in RF vs. righties and start Dye in RF vs. lefties.
  17. He started out as a SS but was moved to 2nd base after he had a wrist injury... http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/news/021116hampton.html He has also played most of his games in the majors at 2nd base, not SS.
  18. Mackowiak would also be a good addition. He can play 3B, 2B, and every outfield position.
  19. Okay, but if he adds a 3rd baseman and doesn't move Crede, won't it be for an improvement at 3rd base? And if he trades for an improvement over Crede, do you think that player won't be starting over Crede or at least platooning with him? It's not like Kenny is going to trade for a 3rd baseman that is worse than Crede.
  20. Wrong again. Ozuna is a 2nd baseman by trade. Uribe is a SS by trade.
  21. I see it happening in approximately one month (early July). Kenny usually strikes well before the trade deadline. He acquired Everett and Alomar on July 1, 2003 and he traded for Freddy Garcia on June 28, 2004. I guarantee that he won't just sit around and watch Cruddy continue to suck until the deadline.
  22. LOL. No, Cruddy has just sucked this season and this season alone.
  23. PK and Everett have shown throughout their careers that they can hit. Uribe is here because he's the only true SS on our roster. Crede has never shown that he can be a good hitter in the majors.
