Election 2014
That was the worst. That's the problem with Dems being in power over exec offices for so long, they start to confuse party power for voter appeal.

Election 2014
I wonder if the Illinois GOP pick the most unwinnable seats and give them to Baar Topinka and Oberweis every two years. Keeps those two feeling important, keeps their money, prevents them from winning office.

Why don't you get I voted stickers in Chicago? Would Rainer change that? Inform me.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 3, 2014 -> 05:57 PM) I hope it isn't "the Emery experiment," and more so "the Trestman experiment." I think Emery tried to hire the next Belichick instead of the next John Harbaugh or Mike Tomlin or Mike McCarthy. I'm not sure a GM should get two cracks at an HC, especially when they fired a coach after a 10-6 campaign.

The thing is, I'm kind of terrified the lesson the McCaskeys would have learned from the Emery experiment. I honestly have no idea what their takeaway would be.

Eh, philly tuned Reid out too. I'll take 3 years of greatness and then a bad year and fire him for a more cerebral guy the players like.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 2, 2014 -> 04:21 PM) If Jimmy is actually going to score this season we're going to be in excellent shape. Obviously it was only one game but he flashed some signs in the preseason as well that at least gives me some hope. I actually have no doubt about it. At the very least his getting to the line at will. The bigger question to me is how he plays with Rose. They have not played much together and when they have Jimmt looks like he just stands watching.

My main concern is in two games they have destroyed Bulls on glass. That can't happen, and a lot of it looked like just watching the ball

God if people are going to lose their minds off of a rolled ankle just stop watching the bulls now.

damn. Sucks because I didn't really want him getting more than 12 per, sucks that he may get 14 with a weird poison pill contract.

I think 80% chance Cavs beat Bulls because of Lebron. But if they were in the Western conference I really don't know I'd give them better than 30% chance. They seem a lot like OKC, 3 dynamite players and super thin after that, to where you have a Derek Fisher getting run around because you have no one else.

For all the talk of Taj being slighted, looks like he is really owning that second unit now. Love the way he talks about Niko. Kukoc said his biggest struggles were doubting himself after dominating in Europe. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baske...1030-story.html

LOL you guys are so timid. "It's just one game it means nothing" who cares? The Knicks, whose third best player looks like a jewelry salesman, beat the cavs at their home opener after a 24-hour sportscenter marathon slobfest. It was hilarious.

Last night watching Rose. One reason I think he shoots poorly from 3pt range, is it seems like that's the shot he takes when he's tired. That's...not the best choice. His mid-range was muy bueno. Muy muy.

I loved the Knicks Triangle by the way. It goes like this: -Pass it to Melo/JR Smith 18 feet from hoop -Jab step -Jab step -Fadeaway -Championship
