Even if our bullpen stayed as is you couldn't guess the results of next year. I've grown to hate the art of trying to figure out before the season starts who has a good/bad bullpen.

Kind of disappointed with Brazil beer selection so far. I was under the impression they had some more diversity...but everything so far is a pilsen. Really the only diversity is with Cachaça. So I guess I can get started on that. Luckily I have a full selection of Malbecs and Carmenera's, which good bottles are only costing me about 10-12 american dollars. I'm trying about a bottle a night. Soooooo go sox.

One thing I might get made fun of for, but it still surprised me. The sun times did a piece where they bought a bar/restaurant and were going to see how much corrupt dealings they'd find in Chicago. They didn't find any except a tip from a government worker about how to avoid paying taxes on things. I think at the alderman level there is obviously rampant corruption, as seen by the # of indictments., but it's possible that there is much less "greasing" than we realize. Granted had they opened up a fake hospital it might be different story.

If people on this forum identified with Beck/Bachmann then maybe they should be offended. But otherwise to assume that because we are pointing out the crap they were spewing may have spurred a violent act we are condemning all republicans, and all conservatives, is just not showing the respect, or at least it shows indignant contempt, for the posters who have showed no such tendencies in the past. nobody is new here, we all know each other. Bachmann is saying really inciteful s*** to dumb people who might believe it. Beck as well. If you don't think this kind of speech has an effect on people, see mid nineties abortion clinic bombings. And THAT was from people with SMALLER influence than Bachmann AND beck.

BUt a census worker being killed with "Fed" written on his chest while high profile politicians/media personalities are making patently ridiculous, false statements about the census program, it's not insane to connect the two. Did this murderer, if it turns out to be murder, act on his own accord? Yes. Would he have killed on his own? Maybe/probably. Should Bachmann/Beck continue to be called out for making incredibly ignorant, stupid, hateful and borderline inciteful comments? Yes, period.

The Beckists aren't really republican as much as just completely anti-establishment. Bachmann is republican, and talking about how census workers will kill us all. This part time census worker was just hung with the words "Fed" scrawled on his chest. The conclusion that this somehow might be related is not completely insane. The fact that kapkomet and other republicans seem to take us saying it is personally is. This man/woman who did this is insane. He/She is not rational. He/She is not you.
