  1. no spin this as bad for Obama
  2. Sometimes when you want something from some other country that is your ally since your existence as a country, you don't just tell them to f*** off and do what we say, or we'll just do it ourselves! It really wasn't effective at all - in any way.
  3. where is this Ozzie saying that Owens will get bulk of playing time? I ASSUMED we'd go sunday lineup of Getz/Fields
  4. I thought Swisher was great that first month when he was walking himself onto a .400 clip.
  5. I believe the NJ senator who is a D attempted to block an obama appointee if the lesser cuban s*** was in the something. i'm tired today dudes.
  6. I thought heads would pipe in.
  7. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 08:36 PM) CQ gets robed. Nice catch they acknowledge CQ's deity-status and grant him a robe.
  8. please keep em behind D.J.
  9. bmags: happy we are scoring a lot of runs, really pissed he can't see it. Can't wait to get back a few months in May.
  10. Gard Darnut! I get to see most games last week, where we get shut out left and right, and miss all the dingers and blow outs!
  11. Just so you guys are aware, I can't see the game and really appreciate how the game threads have been very friendly with the pbp updates.
  12. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 02:59 PM) Park for free and walk to the game. My old man doesn't like going to games anymore, too old and crotchety and hates the over loud music that's constantly going, but he'd always park at a fire station parking lot cuz his old man was a fire chief (maybe at that very station) though he's long dead. I saw some other people park there and leave a can of coffee for the firemen and thought that's a nice gesture for the free parking and mentioned it to my old man but he, of course, would just say "what for ?" Then it's not free anymore is it is his reasoning. But this is a man who stabbed me in the arm with a fork for taking more meat before I had taken more potatoes at dinner. Pure south side. My great-uncle Jim also let us park at that fire station
  13. does kap read the cuban times or something

    I love reading these threads. People luuuuuv to comment on media by taking their small sample size of experience (usually linked to) form their opinion doused in hostile media effect, and scream their opinions. That's the scary thing about modern political commentators, they are but the smallest step above average message board user, but they are getting paid to do their job. It terrifies me to think that someone might be lurking on soxtalk recruiting bearsox with a radio show, and frankly, he wouldn't seem all that out of place.
  19. WGNNNNNN YYYYEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS
  20. Seriously, it's not like this guy is making millions. edit: this reads somewhat sarcastic when it shouldn't. Wise is not an unlikeable character guy, the team likes him, he just is a s***ty player. This isn't royce clayton combo.
  21. yeah I feel bad for Wise. It's like booing a woman every time she drives/green
  22. QUOTE (Sox It To Em @ Apr 7, 2009 -> 08:23 PM) fhusdofnwefhjefhn0eq8 my favorite post, I knew we did something good when gibberish gets posted.
