The Cleveland Guardians
I wasn't responding to you, I was responding to the "fits flyover country" comment. It's okay to hate the logo/name obviously.

The Cleveland Guardians
no, but people in chicago gleefully cheering another midwestern towns decline is not very self aware. People from cleveland are great, and it's better than detroit to visit. People from detroit are also nice.

The Cleveland Guardians
people hate every team name. I like that it's based off of a local thing that's special to cleveland. The pelicans was a great name and people ahted it (who is scared of a pelican lawler) but the worst names are when teams decided their mascots needed to represent something fierce. 90s graphic design imo was really fun and great but the mascot legacy is terrible. What! You can't name your team the cubs after baby bears, you need to name them after the uh...grizzly bears because they maul and are strong just like our team! And I'll just say I actually like it and while you guys will go apeshit over the main logo, when people choose this stuff they also look at a lot of extensibility across mediums, and I kinda really like some of the smaller logos which blend some fun styles.

The Cleveland Guardians
I am not surprised they didn’t change the colors and I don’t think they should have. I like that it’s city related, and happy Cleveland made the switch. Great job, hope the Sox beat the guardians.

Trevor Story
well he's 50% better than last year offensively, but not near his peak, but what of that is st louis and what part is just natural decline?

Trevor Story
Me, a genius who uses home/road splits from coors How will he perform out of that dry Arizona air? Well his away splits vs *gasp** RHP are terrible. Clearly that is what he will hit in GRF, since that is an away stadium from his baseline of “home”. But…shoot that ALC experience would come in so handy. Tough call. I’ll leave it up to the genius level analysts.

Cruz traded to TB
I have to say it was disappointing to see how good of a return the twins got. I’d say they came out way better than say, when the tigers traded JDM. Even though there wasn’t a whole lot of guys like Cruz available, I hope Sox can get some good deals this week.

7/22 Games
No mention of Tatis double? By only striking out 50% tonight, I think he decreased his strikeout rate 600% or something

White Sox considering Nelson Cruz
Preller would just redraw their outfield so all of RF is foul.

Trade Deadline Thread
I don't think that's fair he was a mid-season addition then. I don't want to pay for a Kimbrel but if he came here I know he'd be nails.

Yermin - great for content.

I think he gets a 40 man salary which is closer to 50k, but right, his 570k or whatever salary is prorated to the games he played.

I’m not sure! I wonder if it buys them a little more time to evaluate Arizona’s guys before it crowds with them having started so late. Or maybe it gives them a chance to Build a network and support with their “class”, before they spread out. Without Great falls I wonder if it will be a more spread out assignment. Lord knows Kanny could use some bullpen help.
