  1. This is not that important but I hate them saying “out of an abundance of caution”. Uh yeah it’s not really, just say due to your protocol you will sit out anyone showing symptoms until they can see it’s not covid.
  2. You are speaking with way too much certainty here.
  3. I mean so was I. I don't think we should assume this was due to players being irresponsible until we have a concrete example. You literally just said they are flying commercial.
  4. Right, let's blame the virus not the people. These guys can't wfh. That said, MLB and Players Union need to evaluate if they truly are doing everything possible to limit this. I was not impressed.
  5. You've seen them contract COVID?
  6. I mean reds just lost Senzel and Moustakas.
  7. Right, but the NBA actually has controls for that. He wasn't allowed in. The mlb would never know.
  8. I think more than anything their issue is vision related (obviously it's small but hitting a 95 mph baseball is hard and that's not an issue for a runner), but they should at least wear them in the dugout.
  9. It's not anecdotal. But honestly this is what I want to know. We are focusing on the stuff we can see, but they are outdoors and for the most part have been in sunlight. I'm more concerned about their interactions we can't see.
  10. It's not that weird, they are in hotels together, traveling together, and maybe some are eating together. They put players lockers far apart, but judging by how they are acting in dugout, who knows how they are acting when in closed air situations.
  11. the players not in the stands thing - that was pretty weird that wasn't done, right? I still think it's more likely off field activity. But they made a big deal of building that tent, and its just the taxi squad guys in there? Why? When the outbreak in the US got worse, baseball should have become more cautious, not less. So many weird, constantly dumb decisions.
  12. I also thought players were going to be sitting in the stands. That said, I hope we get answers on whether they think it's as much in game transmission or possibly hanging out outside stadium/hotels.
  13. There's a big difference between the NBAs bubble and MLBs in-stadium restrictions.
  14. I don't even know how to process this but let's hope the players have mild, asymptomatic cases and that they did not infect any Phillies.
  15. bounce back season starts tomorrow
  16. Yes, this. Remember that it was a surprise he could start Friday, then a surprise he felt good enough for two in a row.
  17. Very low confidence in Lopez, was surprised they slotted him to make this series. would love to be proven wrong!
  18. Really brought it to those suckass twins today. Hoot and holler deez ya schmucks
  19. Lambert hitting 96, he’s going to be happy to see that.
