  1. The other annoying thing was Leury going to his right was a good play, but it was Cruz running to first. Could have likely had an easier play there
  2. The only good news is I honestly don’t care much about pitch count this year
  3. Ugh. Gonna throw this out there: Leury has never been a good infielder and it’s weird they went so hard in his direction for 2nd base.
  4. Sorry sir the negative posting doesn’t start for 2 more hours
  5. Guessing our normal graphic design people were furloughed lol this is so bad
  6. I realized for the first time today that we still have Jonathan stiever, I for some reason thought we had traded him since we had talked about that all winter.
  7. true. Gotta say though when we were at soxfest I was pretty convinced sox were good with rolling with mendick at 2b, have been a bit surprised how much it leaned leury at summer camp. Obviously a short term issue. I've never been impressed with leury's infield d.
  8. I like the lineup. I was done with Nicky but I'm actually really excited for him this year. He has such a sweet swing, and the shoulder injury sounds terrible. I hope he kills it.
  9. I thought it was funny when people were critiquing the kind of beer the sox partnered on for this. I like the sox ale, but honestly they could have thrown that logo on keystone light and I'd have bought a keg of it
  10. Lol, I have my 12 pack already. Tv, not a problem. Was thinking about trying to find the nacho helmet.
  11. Anyone have any good ideas on how to make opening day special at home?
  12. I take that back, trip to greece
  13. Palm Springs was great, I think the only 2020 movie I’ve liked so far
  14. I think there should be a lot of playoff teams but I’d also be good with the teams in both leagues with best record getting placed like straight in LCS honestly
  15. I think there should be a lot of playoff teams but I’d also be good with the teams in both leagues with best record getting placed like straight in LCS honestly
  16. "people will stop paying attention in august and September!" as if that already doesn't happen.
  17. No I'm just giving my thumbs up to the idea to provide some counterbalance to the overwhelming negative sentiment toward it
  18. I think there is something special to the selectivity of baseball playoffs. But, for me that doesn't come close to outweighing how disappointing it is when you have a pretty damn good year and miss the playoffs due to circumstance. 2010 was one of my favorite years in the 21st century teams. 2006 and 2003 were really special to me. 2012 was meh. Was 2008 really much better than any of those teams? Not at all, but it holds such a bigger place even with a pretty uneventful first round series (obviously game 163). I would definitely be way happier if all of those were playoff teams. If you have a ~.530 win percentage you should be pretty much in the playoffs.
  19. Expansion and bigger playoff pool ?
