Go ahead and flame me, but to be honest if I researched this I'm sure there are way more examples of the refs deciding games that have nothing to do with the Big 10. I'd be lying if I said that the stuff you said hasn't crossed my mind before, hell my dad actually drills it into my head a lot. He has some theories like this. I try not to believe this stuff though, I hope it's not the case.
