  1. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 16, 2006 -> 03:42 PM) And I will just say, as always, it comes down to the bracket. lmao. whoops.
  2. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 16, 2006 -> 03:24 PM) Well said Zoom, G'Town's backcourt IMO is the only reason they won't make the final 4. If they were more consistent, I'd say definite Final 4 material. As for WVU, I just don't trust a team that reliant on perimeter shooting. Ha, we've had this gtown convo before. Yes, as of now their guards are their achilles heel but a team that plays the type of defense they do, along with not turning the ball over much and having a stud in Brandon Bowman has one hell of a shot to make it to Indy. Obviously jmo.
  3. These comments always come at interesting times to say the least. Instead of the media putting the pressure back on us by talking up how we have to repeat, making us favorites or whatever, they're now talking about Ozzie. Maybe I'm giving Ozzie to much credit but it really wouldn't surprise me at all if he does this stuff to get the spotlight off the team.
  4. QUOTE(Felix @ Feb 16, 2006 -> 03:19 PM) IIRC, either Ozzie or Kenny said at SoxFest that Brian would bat 8th and Crede would bat 9th. Incorrect. There was an article that claimed that but ozzie said the exact opposite.
  5. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 16, 2006 -> 12:05 PM) Assuming Anderson is in the lineup...he's supposedly hitting 8th. According to? Ozzie has said plenty of times that Brian will bat 9th.
  6. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 16, 2006 -> 02:51 PM) I think UConn and Villanova will definitely be there, but it would take a hell of a favorable bracket for any other Big East teams to get there. But hey, you never know this year. Gtown has a very good shot imo.
  7. QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 16, 2006 -> 02:36 PM) Wonder how many will jump off the ship at the first 3 game skid... :rolly 90 percent of soxtalk.
  8. QUOTE(knightni @ Feb 16, 2006 -> 12:50 PM) They will regret not trading Contreras when he had the most value. Mark me down as a Count skeptic. Count will be the best pitcher on the team this year. Mark me down for that. Anyways, I want to win this again bad. The only difference is we actually know how it feels which will make it hurt even worse if we don't do it again.
  9. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Feb 15, 2006 -> 11:30 PM) Talk to your guidance counselor, but I think it may be a possibility that you can apply and then just have your ACT scores sent to yourself, at which point you can submit them on your own to colleges. But talk to your counselor. That was what ours told us, but I sent it in anyways, cause I wasn't worried about the score. The Scores are online. If you don't send it to the college from the test you can just go to the act website and send it from there. That's what I did.
  10. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Feb 15, 2006 -> 10:51 PM) Greasy -- can I ask a favor of you? Under my avatar, can you place the title, "Intercontinental Champion"? Krush, SnB, and Rowand44 will understand the joke. Perfect.
  11. My advice: Wait until your happy with your act score and then apply.
  12. Heads, do you think the Cyclones are officially dead? I have no clue what your guys remaining schedule looks like but I got to imagine this win by Colorado hurts you guys a lot.
  13. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Feb 15, 2006 -> 10:39 PM) At home they are a completely different team. Very true. Still, I don't see them blowing out Illinois, the Illini will atleast keep it close because of their defense imo.
  14. Colorado with a humungous win over Oklahoma. This helps their resume big time, as they had 0 good wins before this game. Also, Richard Roby is good.
  15. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Feb 15, 2006 -> 10:15 PM) We're gonna get raped at MSU... Eh, it's not like they're playing tremendous basketball right now either.
  16. Penn State is about to win and IU is going to find themselves in the nit.
  17. Badgers win. IU down with 10 secs left.
  18. Hoosiers down 5 with 3:38 left.
  19. Buckeyes up 9 at half in Madison.
  20. Hansbrough is kicking some ass. Meanwhile Illinois only up 7 at half.

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Feb 15, 2006 -> 07:37 AM) coughnerdscough http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Justice_League_members LOL, they have different eras. "Justice League Detroit era."
  22. QUOTE(SnB @ Feb 15, 2006 -> 03:49 PM) Olympic hockey is always somethin I've loved to watch and it's what the winter olympics are about for me. Krush make you say that?
  23. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Feb 15, 2006 -> 03:45 PM) 20 minutes, the time counts up instead of down. That's why I was confused.
