Illinois is far from out of it in the big 10. They've given themselves an uphill climb but in the last few weeks I think it's been proven that no one wants to win this conference and there is no such thing as a gimmie game either.

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 12:24 AM) ROTFLMAO@The Knicks. T-mac goes 2 for 19 and the Rockets still clobber them. Make that 14-35. wharris said to me today "hopefully the knicks lose, they actually have a winnable game today." My response was just "there is no such thing as a winnable game for the knicks."

QUOTE(Felix @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 12:10 AM) PSU also beat Illinois in Illinois, while Minnesota beat PSU in PSU. Does that mean Minnesota will beat Illinois in Minnesota?!?!?!?! I don't think it works like that.

So what does everyone think about the uconn-nova game tomorrow?? I absolutely love to watch nova play but this is one of those games where they really could use Mr. Sumpter. Uconn is just to big for nova to win this game without Curtis imo. I say Uconn takes it. EDIT: I am really excited for this game tomorrow though. I'm missing my im bball game and missing something for school just to watch this one. Should be one hell of a fun game.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 12, 2006 -> 02:57 PM) Yeah, I guess. We didn't guard them on 3's, yes they shot great, but for the most part we weren't guarding them, which makes me mad more than anything. Ah well, can't win the league every year, it just especially sucks here since we had a chance the last 2 games and completely just died both times. You guys should have and could have won the penn state game, but you really had no chance today.

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Feb 12, 2006 -> 01:44 AM) I'd keep Tracy and Giles. I know some people think Tracy may regress a little in 2006, but if he can play every game he's definitely got the capability to hit 30-100 going on how he hit in the 2nd half of 05. You keeping tracy?? Nah, I don't believe it.

To be fair to Illinois here..OSU just has not missed the last two games, if they keep playing like this they're going to beat everyone in this conference.

OSU needs to start missing sometime, right? Well..maybe not.

osu 3-15 shooting 2's and 8 of 11 shooting 3's. That's just ridiculous.

This is how you beat osu, just guard the 3 line and let them miss layups.

As of today here's how the valley's rpi looks: UNI-19, Shockers-22, Dawgs-23, Mo State-24, Bj's-29.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Feb 12, 2006 -> 01:53 AM) The other thing the Valley will have to watch is the Big 10. If Michigan or IU keeps diving, both of them could find themselves on the outs (both teams were pretty much locks a week or so ago). Than you have Wiscy who may have found its stride. The Big 10 could get 1 or 2 less teams due to a late collapse opening things up. Than again you have the Big 12 and Kansas stepping up and potentially a team like the Aggies and of course CU. So other teams will find a way in. It was big that the Zags beat Stanford since Stanford right now is a team on the bubble (that said I expect them to finish strong and get in). I personally see one of Stanford/Cal getting in out of the pac 10 and being the 4th bid from that league. EDIT: I should add that I think zona will do well enough to get themselves in, just because of that high sos and rpi.

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 12, 2006 -> 01:49 AM) I can't see five Valley teams getting in. There are too many games left plus the tournament. At least one of those teams will weed themselves out. The top 4 have basically become locks, though a total collapse by one of them could change that. Mo State still has some work to do but with their win tonight they atleast have a chance.
