  1. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 01:27 PM) 6-3, 2 down.
  2. Rivera owned Aaron Monday, hopefully that changes.
  3. We might have got a break there. EDIT: Wow, that's as close as it gets.
  4. Freddy will definitely be in to start this inning.
  5. QUOTE(GBlum27 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 01:12 PM) Tadahito Scotty would probably leadoff in their lineup with Jeter batting 2nd. EDIT: LOL, why the hell are we talking about this.
  6. I'm happy to see Small out of there. Our hitters just couldn't pick up his breaking ball.
  7. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:57 PM) Shush, quit being so positive about everything. Not allowed in here. None of us are allowed to enjoy this 73 and 39 team.
  8. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:54 PM) I hate ignorant people. Chacon since coming from the NL has an era of 1.42, k/9 of around 6, and a whip of 1.21. His starts were against Cleveland, Angels, and Sox. Each game he k'd 4, so there goes the conspiracy that Sox did worse against Chacon than others. Small has an era of 3.15 and a whip of 1.30. He has only given up 3 er in 2 starts, 1 against the Rangers and the other against the Twins. Its not like these guys have been rocked, they have been good. Generally the first time a hitter sees a pitcher it is in the pitcher's advantage. These 2 guys have not pitched against many Sox hitters. Seems like nothing more than the pitchers beating the hitters, which is what everyone always says. Good pitching > good hitting. SB Great f***in post.
  9. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:50 PM) Anyone can say what they want but if you are going to beat the Angels, A's or Red Sox in the postseason, nevermind the Cardinals or whoever in the NL, you are going to have to score more than 2 or 3 runs a game. The angels have scored less runs then us.
  10. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:49 PM) He or Kotsay should get it... They should both get one.
  11. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:48 PM) This is what irritates me. We have held the Yanks offense in serious check, and were fighting for our lives to win. A little more offense would go a long way w/ this team. I got a question, overall these yankee starters have better era's then the Sox 3 guys, so does that mean the Yankees offense sucks or is our pitching good, I'm confused, these things don't add up.
