I agree with you, I have no problem having the 3 headed monster behind the plate. However if you could get a guy like kendall it would obviously be a great pickup. But Kendall makes a ton of money so Hairston or Cat would are cheaper in terms of money and would probably be cheaper in terms of prospects as well, so they're probably the best options.

I still remain very high on Cotts. He has to somehow get his confidence back, whether that is starting a couple of games in aaa I don't know. His era sucks this year but he really has made great strides. Before that start in Minny he was really dominating and he's really harnassed his control this year, he can throw strikes now, last year he couldn't.

I highly doubt that.

Your right his contract is up at the end of the year, so that is the reason they want to trade him.

All the time. It's pretty weird that we heard all these rumors about Freddy coming here and then when all those rumors started to quiet down, all the sudden Freddy is on the southside of Chicago. Kenny always comes out of nowhere that's how he gets his deals done, when he has competition for that player.

I know that's not the best source for rumors but otis has been right a couple of times, so I thought I'd just throw this out there to see what you guys think. Personally I'd love to have either guy, they're both very good guys to have at the top of the order.

I think it's pretty obvious, have you ever seen a team comeback from a ridiculous 3.5 game margin in July, that's just unheard of, Season over, lets white flag it and get ready for next year. I'm with you, man. These losses hurt and are tough to watch but this team is to good to be this bad and they'll wake up and be right in the thick of things come october.

You forgot to mention how he has 22 homeruns which is first among al shortstops or the fact that he's come up clutch hits time and time again or the fact he's been absolutely awesome defensively. He f***ed up today no doubt about that but he's still a very good player.

Honestly, nobody knows who can or who can't go deep into the playoffs. This team isn't playing well right now but if they get hot right around october, going into the playoffs with a hot streak, throwing garcia and buehrle out there the first couple of games, who says they can't go deep into the playoffs. Get in and anything can happen.

That's not kenny's philosiphy. They're 2 games back in the loss column, they still have a great chance to get into the postseason. I doubt he's going to sit back and think well maybe the twins will collapse, maybe will get frank and maggs back, he'll most likely go out and try to put this team over the top like he always does.
