Nice post beastly. I agree with most of it except I don't believe Bensons price tag would be a problem considering the sox really haven't added that much money this year with the trades but everything else you said I think is right on.

Right now I'd rather kw go after a cheaper bat like Mackowiak or Catalanotto, preferably Frank. Then go after more pitching, get one more bullpen arm and maybe another starter.

I don't think another setup man is needed, politte and marte are awesome there. I just want someone to replace Mike Jackson, Scott Sullivan seems like a good choice that would probably come pretty cheap.

Tonights lineup: Harris 2b Valentin ss Lee lf Everett dh Konerko 1b Perez rf Rowand cf Crede 3b Alomar c I've already said I want aaron batting 2nd, this is really dumb having him bat 7th and jose bat 2nd, rowand is on base it seems almost every at bat and jose is a rbi guy and should be batting lower in the order. It seems that Rowand has been scoring the majority of our runs lately and he's been the one getting on base for carlos and everett. This isn't a smart lineup by ozzie and I hope he figures this out soon. This just doesn't make me happy.

He's not that good. Also the gold gloves will either go to 3 centerfielders or 2 centerfielders and Ichiro.

Yes, he had a huge affect on Jose's defense. Robbie was way better then willie at the time to play 2nd base, willie at that time still wasn't able to hit. I don't know what intrigues you so much about Ring but I'm pretty sure he hasn't done anything yet and hasn't even been in the majors yet. I think you should wait to love Royce so much until he does anything in the major leagues, if he ever does.
