  1. The Sox made me completely forget about OKC-Memphis. Been fun so far? At least I get to watch OT.
  2. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:40 PM) Ventura called for the suicide squeeze. Semien fails miserably. Detroit then calls one against us and it was beautiful for them unfortunately. It wasn't a suicide squeeze though, that's why I'm not positive if that was Robin. It probably was but it could have been Marcus on his own.
  3. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:39 PM) How horrendous was Viciedo's error on a scale of 1 to 10? Lost it in the lights? Overran? Just a misplay? Whiffed? Juggled? Just plain dropped the ball. Hit his glove and to the ground.
  4. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:37 PM) Tank needs to be in left field, where he's less awful. He's literally just dropped 3 balls these last 3 games. I'm certainly not disagreeing that he's better in left but that shouldn't have mattered with these drops.
  5. PK got a cookie there. This one hurts.
  6. QUOTE (DashFan @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:34 PM) We didn't have the lead. You don't take one of your best hitters out of the game in a 3-3 tie. Hindsight 20/20, etc. No, you're absolutely right.
  7. One of those f***in games.
  8. One more!
  9. Unbelievable Dayan.
  10. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:12 PM) Semien will hit a walk off...obviously. Walk off bunt?
  11. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:09 PM) He let Chamberlain off the hook. 3-0, he should have taken one. The pitch that Dayan swung at was right down the middle, wouldn't have mattered.
  12. C'mon back up Cuban!
  13. I do like turning him loose there.
  14. Abreu was actually moving there.
  15. The bullpen has started to not suck the last 4 or 5 games. Hopefully that continues.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 09:54 PM) How so? Like I mentioned, they tried a safety squeeze with him last week. Just as a baseball play it made 0 sense. I'm not exactly sure why I'm giving Robin the benefit of the doubt but I am for some reason, for now.
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 09:49 PM) Seems like that would have to be the manager's Seems that way but I'm giving Robin the benefit of the doubt here cause that whole scenario made no sense. QUOTE (Hawkfan @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 09:49 PM) not if he would have f***n bunted it. Tough pitch to bunt and on 1-1 with the runner not moving, just a strange call.
  18. Not sure if that was Robin's or Marcus' call on the bunt but that killed the ab.
  19. Not a fan of that.
  20. QUOTE (Ozzie Ball @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 09:36 PM) It's based on people physically recording the data based on their interpretation. As a result it is susceptible to some inaccuracies, particularly on the classification between some fly balls and line drives. Fangraps' batted ball data comes from Baseball Info Solutions who use video feeds for their data collection. MLB uses stringers at the ballparks, as does STATS. As Colin Wyers notes, both BIS and STATS are professional data providers, so should be more accurate than MLB Gameday. That's what I kind of figured. Thanks!
  21. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 09:27 PM) A big problem with Eaton's throwing is it takes him a year to release the ball. This I definitely agree with.
  22. Haha I mean...wow.
  23. Think we got a break there. I'll take it!
  24. Yeesh.
