QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 08:51 PM) Can Boozer stop reaching in? Just keep your hands up. He's done that his whole career, not sure how he's never been broken of that habit, basic f***in fundamentals. That being said, it's nice to see him actually be able to score against Miami.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 08:16 PM) Tony Snell and Mike Dunleavy were so f***ing bad. Terrible. They'll both make shots, Dunleavy is just off and Snell just as he was the first preseason game looks extremely nervous.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 07:43 PM) HES BEEN ON THE BENCH LONG ENOUGH THIBS If we're going to get mad at Thibs for resting players in the regular season, he's made a big improvement on his biggest weakness as a head coach.

Jimmy just has to be smarter than that.

Ok I change my prediction to Pacers-Nets in the ECF. BTW not a fan of putting Jimmy into the game with 4.5 seconds left and 2 fouls, almost gave LeBron an easy bucket because of it.

QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 05:52 PM) An old show with Colin Cowherd and Michelle Beadle on it. Too bad it's not on anymore. It's still on just with different people.

TNA has some really talented guys but outside Angle and Roode, im not sure how some of those other guys would fit within the WWE product.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 04:02 PM) I'd be sobbing too if I'd just signed that contract, let alone coming from where he did. Let's hope this kid is a monster. Take it easy, chief. Stop talking for awhile. Agreed, we're not talking 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5

I'm now 2 and 6 with the 3rd most points in the league. Even with my high point total, it was my stubbornness to not bench Tom Brady that was my downfall. Time to sell. ?

QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 12:27 PM) No, you're right...they are aware of this. When they lost to Dallas a few years ago, they opened up against the Mavs and their ring ceremony and waxed them. But it's not as easy as just "knowing it." The ring ceremony elicits certain emotions that probably aren't particularly conducive to playing a team which really wants to kick your ass. I guess we'll find out. Ya I heard Bosh talk about that. Like I said, I tend to over think things, hopefully you're right.

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 12:10 PM) It just seems like trophy ceremonies always work against the defending champs. QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 12:16 PM) This was my thinking...that, and this being such an important game for the Bulls...I think we're going to be more up for this one than Miami. You guys are both right and I feel that Miami has heard that as well and this is going to somehow end up working against the Bulls. I tend to over think things.

So speaking of Mr. Buckets, I'm actually very excited to see the strides he can make this year. He improved so damn much between year 1 and 2 that there's no reason for me to believe that he can't take another big step forward, especially with Derrick back.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 11:47 AM) Guys. Let's focus on and live in the now. Bulls @ Heat tonight. #TheReturn will be official. Will the Champs be distracted by their rings? Will D-Rose get nasty? Who ya got? I have Bulls by 5 with Derrick having a pretty rough night from the floor but making up for it by getting to the line and hitting a couple threes. I see Taj as having a nice game, too. I've always had such a hard time betting on a single NBA regular season game but I'll say Miami wins by 5-7 tonight, hopefully I'm a liar.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 11:19 AM) LOL. I absolutely did NOT forget Detroit. That team will struggle to score points. Honestly, who is going to score points? They'll get some work around the basket, but no one on that team can shoot. Josh Smith might shoot 35% with the looks he's been jacking up. I have zero thought that Detroit will be any good this season. They won't be but the 6-8 seeds aren't going to have to be very good.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 10:58 AM) Oh my goodness gracious. You know what, Butler better average at least 15 ppg on good efficiency and make an all-defensive team for all this ridiculous hype. It's not ridiculous hype when people are saying he's a huge upgrade over Keith f***in Bogans, that's literally all anyone has said. This is the first time since LeBron has been in Miami that the Bulls have had a real NBA backcourt, that's going to make a huge difference.
