  1. QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 15, 2008 -> 07:25 PM) Ha, no kidding. I kept it on CBS due to the Gus factor. That Tenn/Ark game was great. Gotta love Gus. On a side note. If you guys want to watch some downright hilarious basketball before the big tourny, watch our NIT game on Tuesday or Wednesday. Mullins most likely isn't going to be playing, I really think we can give that 20 points that SLU scored a run. I'm not kidding either.
  2. QUOTE(Brian @ Mar 15, 2008 -> 07:27 PM) Kansas may get a 1 seed if they win tomorrow, with Tennessee going down. QUOTE(Brian @ Mar 15, 2008 -> 07:28 PM) Kansas may get a 1 seed if they win tomorrow, with Tennessee going down. I'll quote you twice . The winner of the Texas-KU game should get a 1. Texas will definitely get it if they win, KU could possibly be pushed out even if they win.
  3. It was very hard to turn back and forth between the last seconds of the UCLA game and the Tenn game. God I love college basketball.
  4. This is just me thinking out loud but with the shape of the bubble this year, the more I think about it, the more I think there might be a big time surprise who slips into the tournament, kind of like Air Force a few years back.
  5. Love has hurt his back. He's playing but he's clearly in pain. UCLA getting hit with the injury bug at the worst possible time.
  6. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 15, 2008 -> 05:08 PM) Scott Linebrink, thanks for the awkward pause with Hawk. That was fantastic.
  7. QUOTE(farmteam @ Mar 15, 2008 -> 03:59 PM) I'll take Team B. Who are they? Team A is Creighton, Team B is Va Tech. Those resumes are real f'n similar. Now I'm not trying to say Creighton should be in(cause they shouldn't be close) but it's just to prove how s***ty Va Techs resume is.
  8. Team A: 20-10; RPI 45, SOS 71; 1-6 v. top 50; 4-7 v. top 100 (best win home versus #42); 7-5 in last 12; 6-8 RD/NT Team B: 19-13; RPI 55, SOS 51; 1-7 v. top 50; 6-9 v. top 100 (best win neutral versus #32); 7-5 in last 12; 7-11 RD/NT
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 15, 2008 -> 03:00 PM) I don't really care, but if you get 4th in the ACC, you should make the tourney. Well that's just pure bull crap. Their best win during the ACC regular season was against the 6 seeded Terps, good for them.
  10. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 15, 2008 -> 02:52 PM) I think there is a pretty good chance that Virginia Tech will get in because the committee (wrongly IMO) puts a lot of emphasis on your last 12 games. But if they don't make it, they are getting what they deserve. Same goes for Kentucky, so has a very similar resume to Tech. Kentucky's resume is much stronger imo. Kentucky has at least beat some teams, Va Tech has a whole 1 top 50 win. UK has 4 top 50 wins including the W against Tenn. If it comes down between those two, it's an easy choice imo.
  11. QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 15, 2008 -> 02:44 PM) Mike Patrick was/is 10,000 times worse. He's a joke too but for Vitale to say if Va Tech doesn't get in their should be an investigation? Alright, Dicky V, Va Tech's resume is god awful but good try.
  12. Someone shut Vitale up.
  13. QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Mar 15, 2008 -> 03:10 AM) I would imagine it would be somewhere between 11 and 14. It'd be around there, just not exactly sure which one. A BCS team with an under .500 record would be an interesting seed, no doubt.
  14. I kind of want to see Illinois win the next two games just to see what the hell their seed would be for the big dance.
  15. I hate the Big Ten Network. God damn it.
  16. St. Joes just punched their ticket. Congrats to them for being a bubble team that actually wins a game.
  17. Illinois class 4a, first team: Kevin Dillard (5-11 Sr., Homewood- Flossmoor) Mike Dunigan (6-10 Sr., Farragut) Iman Shumpert (6-4 Sr., Oak Park) Nick Fruendt (6-5 Sr., Batavia) Brandon Paul (6-3 Jr., Warren).
  18. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 13, 2008 -> 04:23 PM) Villanova is done, they had to get a win today and losing by 19 only makes things worse. I honestly wouldn't be so sure either way with them. Too many bubble teams are losing right now to completely disregard Nova imo. When a bubble team decides they want to win a game then I might be with you but until than, Nova still has a shot.
