QUOTE(Heads22 @ Nov 24, 2007 -> 11:31 PM) Ahem. Stormin' Mormons. So, Row, you follow the MVC. Is Bradley supposed to be any good this year or should we be ashamed of that loss. I'm not trying to be a smartass, but I know Crouch and Ruffin are good. I'd like to think we just tripped up with a young team on the road, plus a Minnesota team that just has a lot of seniors and a good coach. I apologize. I shall never F that up again. Bradley was picked 2nd in the Valley but they have the same exact problems as they did last season. They have no inside game and their defense is spotty. Ruffin and Crouch are one of the best backcourts in the nation but they can only do so much. If I had to guess I'd say they'll finish somewhere around the middle of the league. IMO the league with be dominated by SIU and CU, again.

Fun game for the final in Vegas. UNC is going to pull it out. Very nice W for the TarHeels with out Lawson for pretty much the whole game against a pretty good Mormon team.

I think Mizzou will take down OU and I certainly hope so. I'd LOVE to see a Mizzou-WVU national championship game(obviously WVU has to get through Pitt as well).

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Nov 24, 2007 -> 09:58 PM) Indiana has a terrible shooting night and gets pounded by Xavier 80-65. Xavier was impressive, pounding the offensive glass and clogging the middle. IU was 1-13 for 3-pointers late in the game, not sure where exactly they ended up. Gordon had 18 points, 12-12 from the FT line. IU wasn't just bad from 3-land, they had mid-range jumpers rim out consistently and missed bunnies in the lane (in heavy traffic mostly). But give Xavier credit, they made it difficult and they played well offensively, pounding it inside and crashing the boards, taking advantage of IU's foul troubles. On to GA Tech in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge Tuesday night! Just got back from the game. IU as you said just had a miserable shooting night, nothing would fall. The defense and rebounding were terrible by IU though, that's what they really need to work on. You're going to have shooting nights like that every now and than but defense and rebounding should be a constant. Xavier is a really good team though and they were just the much better team out there tonight.

QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 23, 2007 -> 03:23 PM) Josh F'N BONE!!!!! Ya, he's good. Nice to have a guy that can kill a freakin zone by nailing NBA threes. He just tore that zone of their's apart. Randal has been fantastic the last two games, absolute domination. Mullins is a freakin machine. Good game today, crappy first half, loved the way we played in the 2nd half. Hopefully we can take down USC-Miami(OH) on Sunday and then have the fun one against IU.

QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 22, 2007 -> 04:56 PM) Bone 2/7 from 2 point land. SIU up 20 in the 2nd half. Falker with 14. Josh just had an off shooting night, they were good shots, ones he'll usually make. Randal finally came out of his f'n shell, hopefully he's good to go now. First real test tomorrow.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 21, 2007 -> 09:54 PM) There has to be SOMEWHERE, this is driving me nuts. Yay, thank god for relatives whose house I wasn't planning on going to for thanksgiving. Anyways, besides the SIU game at 3, I'm really looking forward to GMU-KSU and WKU-Zags today. Both should be excellent games.

That Butler game was fun to watch last night. Michigan came back from a 28-11 early deficit, got it to within three and then Butler just bombarded them with 3's.

OFFICIAL: Sox Sign Linebrink - 4 yrs, 19 mil
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Nov 21, 2007 -> 09:43 PM) The Sox don't seem to have a problem with it, which is why I don't. Him getting blown up here is another story. I have seen Linebrink on occasion, and his stuff isn't very impressive. However, he has put up consistent numbers the last 4 or 5 years, albeit in SD and the NL. Will see what happens. I just think it's 5 mill that is better spent elsewhere. Other than that, I'm actually going to back down here a bit. I'm going to give him a chance, I just really don't trust management right now and my first reaction always seems to be not liking moves at the moment.

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Nov 21, 2007 -> 09:32 PM) Why? He's a reliever I think will absolutely get blown up here. Whatever, I guess I should wait to see him pitch but I don't like to spend 5 million on a reliever, period. Oh well, hopefully it turns out well.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Nov 20, 2007 -> 04:26 PM) It shouldnt even be an issue for you, Im positive that Pinch and the Cellar are going to have the game on. And if you are home, you can head out to CBN to meet up with Salukibob and the bunch for the game(even though it is at CBN ) CBN was the original plan since it's literally a minute away from my house, not sure if all the other ST'ers are going to be there. Just have to make sure they're going to be showing it there.

PODS DFA'D; Egbert, Harrell, Russell and Armstrong on 40 man
Well he has been brutal the past two years and I'm very happy he's gone. That being said, he obviously was a vital part of a Championship team and we don't win it with out him. Good luck to him wherever he ends up.

Jon Garland traded for Orlando Cabrera
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Nov 19, 2007 -> 11:49 AM) Quick question... What teams might want Uribe? And for what role? Who knows. Uribe might actually come in handy this season in a utility role. Unfortunately that's a lot of f'n money for a utility player but I think it's worth it to keep him instead of trading him for probably nothing.

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Nov 19, 2007 -> 11:25 AM) Umm, it's clearly a joke. Much like your "Schuerholz" crack. Cause you pretty much take a shot at Gavin Floyd in every post. You like to get a rise out of people by doing so cause you want the attention.
