Is that an offer HSC??? depends on if your taking me up on it or not.............. Careful what you post on here, people might think you are serious.
  10. They wouldn't hire Harold as the manager. No experience. Be careful asking for a change, next thing you know they may bring Hawk down from the booth!

  15. I have no problem with people wanting to win. I just tired of overreactions and personal attacks, along with the contradictions like you mentioned. Then again, maybe I just like to pick a fight every once in awhile to cure my boredom. ;-)
  16. I already proposed a Chicago for Charlotte swap. No one too me seriously. ;-)
  17. Welcome Indy.... Been a long time since I have been there, but used to party in Indy a lot. Always had lots of fun in that town.
  18. If it makes you feel better Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Kannapolis are all doing much better. Here is the whole org.... Team R/Gm H/Gm Sox 4.33 8.0 Char 4.84 9.2 Birm 3.0 7.2 W-S 5.0 8.87 Kann 5.27 9.5
  19. Some overall numbers.... After 27 games, the Barons have 195 hits (7.2 per game) and scored 81 runs (3.0 per game). The averages for the 9 other teams in the league area 8.7 hits per game and 4.3 runs per game. No team is within 20 runs scored of the Barons and only Greenville is as close as 12 hits to our total. In comparison, as bad as the Sox offense is, they are still averaging 8 hits and 4.33 runs per game.
  20. After winning 5 straight, the Barons have now lost 6 of 7. You think the offense is bad in Chicago???? We have scored only 10 runs in 7 games on this trip. Only 42 hits in 7 games. Is six hits per game enough?? It is no wonder we have won ONE game. Rocker with another scoreless appearance for the ORays. Pacheco on the bump Sunday. Maybe he can win his 2nd game of the trip? 21. boston has a SS thats coming up thats supposed to be pretty hot..he'll never unseat nomar...wonder if we picked up some of koch's contract if they would make that deal???...maybe hoping koch will regain his form this SS is 19 and is number 34 on the hot prospect list....what what else besides koch it would take to get this guy??...from BA An act of God, most likely.
  22. FWIW, his triple should have been a single, or a double at most. Daubach took a horrible angle on that ball (either that or he is just really, really slow, which is possible) and should have cut it off. Not that it made much difference, but out defense doesn't help us. On the bad call at 2B in the 4th, we can blame the umpire or Jose for letting the ball eat him alive. Granted it was a shot, but it ate him up. If he handles that ball or doesn't fall on his ass, the umpire isn't a factor. I just see more and more little ways that our defense hurts us, even when it doesn't go down in the book as an error.
  23. Ok, so I am just making this up, but how about we offer Koch back to Oakland for Joe Valentine. They can keep Koch and Foulke (of course, we'd have to pay some $$ too). Valentine only has one save in AAA but he has a 2.57 ERA in 11 appearances and has not walked a batter in his last 6 appearances spanning 8 innings. Only 1 ER and 3 H allowed while striking out 9 in those six appearances. Not realistic, but its late and I am having random thoughts. Any other trades possibilities for Koch? Boston perhaps?
