2010 Chicago White Sox Spring Training
I don't want to start a thread for this question, so I will just post it here: Does anyone know what number the front row is in sections 157,158,106,107? These are the outfield sections behind the bullpens, if I remember correctly the rows don't start with 1 in these sections. Thanks!

Property Taxes
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 8, 2009 -> 12:46 PM) Correct, the assessed value is what they use, and that may or may not be the same as what you bought it at. Issue here is, it depends where you are. In the City of Chicago and Cook County, its goofy as well, and not easily predictable. Suburbs are different, counties are different, states are different. So where are you located? I'm in Montgomery, Kane county. The way she explained it at the time was that the house would be reassessed at the purchase price, however I could have misunderstood and have not been able to reach her to ask.

Property Taxes
I have a question regarding property taxes for anyone who may know….. I bought my first house in July 2008 for under market value. My realtor told me that my first tax bill would be based on the sale price I bought the house at. I recently received my first tax bill, for 2008 taxes, and on the bill my taxes were based on the assessed value of the home. So assuming she was correct, should my 2008 bill be based on the sale price of the house? Just looking for a little knowledge before I start making phone calls. Thanks for your help in advance. Go Sox!!!

Top picks for White Sox road trips
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 17, 2009 -> 09:45 AM) Visiting Safeco during Memorial Day weekend. Can't wait. Went to Safeco last year and thought it was really nice and would definitely recommend it. You will really like it if you love the stink of garlic. Also love the city of Seattle, it’s beautiful out there and they have lots of delicious craft beers brewed out there. Also been to Miller Park which was nice too, but not for a Sox game.

Circuit City
QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Jan 17, 2009 -> 10:05 PM) So far I've been reading the liqudators have jacked the prices up to MSRP and are taking 10-20% those prices on CD's and DVD's. Another scam I was reading about on an anti Best Buy site: If the customer doesn't want to pay the extended warranty plan, go in the back and tell them that TV is out of stock. I think they may gotten me on that one as well, but I still ended up with a great TV. No need to qorry about the 4 pixels in each quadrant. I was in CC over the weekend and there were no real deals on anything I was interested in (52in LCD and Blu-Ray), these items were pretty much normal price, not that I was expecting anything different. I am curious about people's opinions of the extended warranties. I have purchased them and used them, but have also gone without and not needed one. Now I am debating about purchasing one when I drop $2-3k on a TV....

Baseball Books
II was wondering if anyone could recommend any quality baseball related books, in any genre, to give as a gift this Christmas. If it helps any, the possible recipient is a varsity coach and a filthy Cubs fan…. Thanks in advance!
