What he said. Game on Wednesday afternoon and then off until sometime Saturday?! Ugh.

Danks has to step up against a good offense. He hasn't done so in a while.

He's either going to dominate, or he's going to suck. Let's hope it's dominate or else we'll be playing catchup with our bullpen.

Just because it isn't raining, doesn't mean that the field/stadium will be playable or inhabitable.

The forecast doesn't say much - other than it looks like rain on friday is highly possible.

Fill in my naivete - all I know is that a hurricane is approaching the coast now.

I know very little about it thou =P

It all depends upon the amount of rain that falls and Fenway's drainage ability. Since it's an older park like Wrigley, it may not empty as well as the newer parks.

They also don't have the Sod Father as their groundskeeper

I should be able to watch these games on NESN here at school. I look forward to getting back in the swing of things with you guys.

That's a long break. I wonder if they skip a guy in the rotation.

I've never seen a game played where natural allergy relief was in the forecast. Bad omen, man.

Why would they do that? The only likely candidate for a skipped day is the guy who just pitched 4 innings on Wednesday and left with a stiff back.

Crank it up, f***ers.

Does this hurricane/double header situation make any of our guys pitch on short rest vs Detroit?
