The rain will start hitting Boston in the next 30 minutes to an hour, it's already on the radar screen.

 

However, the possibility of a doubleheader on Saturday is looking more and more possible...instead of just one game late Saturday night.

Will they be able to play an early game DH or are they going to get screwed like last time because of Fox on Sat?

It'd be cool if FOX picked up the first game at say, 1PM for their national coverage on Saturday.

Nothing official or anything - they're just speculating like us.

It all depends upon the amount of rain that falls and Fenway's drainage ability. Since it's an older park like Wrigley, it may not empty as well as the newer parks.

Except Bossard installed the drainage system a few years back, something tells me the field takes on water rather well.
