  1. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 10:37 PM) They weren't stupid in letting AJ go. They had Joe Mauer who in my book looks like he will become a damn good player. It was time for AJ to go, Mauer was ready. The Giants are the dumbasses for picking Tomko over AJ. I think that is one move that they would like to take back.
  2. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 10:16 PM) No worries we will win. But were going to need everyone who has helped us helping us then. Hopefully the barret flooders dont show up then. I'm defenently in for some poll riggin.
  3. QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 08:20 PM) A Pirate leaned into a Wakefield pitch and an ump had him stay put yeah, it was a knuckleball lol I'm sure it wasn't that painful even if it was a fastball. Wakefields fast ball is like a changeup anyways.
  4. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 10:27 PM) Darn, I was hoping Buehrle and Garland would get a shot at the cubs. Hopefully Garland does. As long as we win i don't care who pitches.
  5. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 10:32 PM) I'd much rather have AJ catch Contreras. And I mean much. I agree
  6. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 10:22 PM) I love it when AJ hits a homerun.
  7. I will worry about when it comes. Otherwise just take one game at a time.
  8. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 08:43 PM) I'm with you. I was getting pumped up for this game all day. I haven't sat down and watched an entire game since the Cubs series. I just knew something special was going to happen tonight. Wow is all that I can say. Sweet Avatar. I listend to AJ's walk off on the radio.
  9. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 09:31 PM) All-City shortstop Who's the shortstop on your All-City team? 0.8% Neifi Perez, Cubs (21 responses) 99.2% Juan Uribe, White Sox (2643 responses) Sweet. Total Domination.
  10. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 10:00 AM) Does this lessen the chance we throw a bunch of money at Danks? Hopefully not, we should try to get him to sign with us and if he doesn't accept it, o well.
  11. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 12:29 PM) That's cool. I just don't want the Cell to become a circuis, I'm way to fond of that place to see it go down that road. Yeah me too.
  12. Either way you look at it, it is going to be a tought descision. El Duque is great in the playoffs, and Jose is doing better right now. I would just flip a coin and what ever side it landed on would get to chose wether to start or go in the pen. I would most likely start Jose though.
  13. Kalapse, by the way you wrote your post it made it seem like you didn't want a celeb to attend a game. But i do understand now, and sorry for the misunderstanding.
  14. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 11:51 AM) I said I liked seeing Vince Vaughn at the game yesterday because I respect him as an actor and I have heard him say good things about the Sox in the past. However I don't like the idea of being at the Sox game and seeing David Schwimmer on the video screen and having the crowd give them an ovation for being at the game. They can come to the game I just don't like the idea of the fans applauding them for being there. It has a cubesque feel to it. O ok, i misunderstoood. Sorry about that.
  15. QUOTE(Cloudyguy09 @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 12:09 PM) when is the next position going to come up? Tomorrow or later tonight I think.
  16. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 11:56 AM) Why not we wont both of those games didnt we?!?! Yeah we did, but i would like to watch the entire game this time. Each time i turned the game off after freddy gave up the homeruns.
  17. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 11:25 AM) Common Garcia dont give up another early 3 run jack! Its only natural now. This was the game I wanted to go to because of the throwbacks.
  18. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 11:53 AM) It was at 99.8 last night.
  19. QUOTE(AirScott @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 11:22 AM) anyway only 8 teams out of 30 makes the playoffs, or 26%. in the NFL it's 12 out of 32, 50%. NBA it's 16 of 30, 53%, same as NHL. so baseball's regular season is the most meaningful of the 4, so no changes are necessary. And 12 out of 32 isn't 50%.
  20. QUOTE(Cloudyguy09 @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 11:51 AM) in all honesty i think i account for at least 3,500 of Iguchis votes i went off i once got 171 in a minute How do you get it to vote so much? EDIT: Do what Kalapse said. Just don't answer it on the board.
  21. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 11:47 AM) Greg a memo just came across my desk. Buehrle is greatly outperforming you this year. And he was better than you last year. Oh and he had a higher ERA+ in 03...Hm.... What happened to the John Rocker avatar? He was pretty freaky looking in that picture.
  22. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 11:37 AM) God I can't believe what has evolved into. I heard MB say what he said on the radio and that was it. I figured it was done... Whenever it involves the Cubs in any way possible, it's never done.
  23. If i knew how you guys rigged it, i would gladly take part in it to.
  24. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 11:44 AM) I think cloudy guy is. But i finally found out how to do 10 per second last night. I can do 1 vote per 1 minute.
