  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 06:02 PM) Wow, that was so freaking close. Ozzie is really sticking with Colon a little too long. I dont agree, its not like all of a sudden he lost his stuff. He has been locating well all game, got squeezed a little and his player made an error.
  2. Dont worry about Lilli, Nix is on the fast track to the MLB team.
  3. That 2-seamer would break my f***ing wrist if I was hitting against Colon
  4. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 05:50 PM) Fields looks like crap. Please try Betemit or even Viciedo. Because they are both not as good as Josh, thats most likely the reason.
  5. WHy does the WGN scoreboard thingy have a blue cloud floating above it for no reason?
  6. Bartolo is looking good, but mostly cause these guys arent getting good swings. Our offense looks bored.
  7. QUOTE (rangercal @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 12:50 PM) Noah is so underrated around these parts. I hope he remains a Bull for a long time. he still annoys the s*** out of me though. I'm glad his production is finally making me shut up, but I STILL hate that draft pick.
  8. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 03:42 PM) The Sedin twins.. they are a couple of pussies. To be honest, I think we'll do fine against Vancouver. They barely held off the Flames in their division, and only have home ice because of stupid rules that division winners get the top 3 seeds. Just because they are the 3 seed does not mean they are better than the Blackhawks... quite the opposite in fact. Hawks in 6. I think they are more physical and slightly dirtier than Calgary which may hurt us a little, but all in all we should handle them.
  9. LOL at Boston fans and reporters trying to start a conspiracy theory against the Bulls and the refs. Come on Boston, if any city gets favorable calls and treatment from any league its you.
  10. And the overreactions to media quotes continues!!!!
  11. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Apr 27, 2009 -> 04:28 AM) I'm of the opposite opinion. I think McShay is terrible. He literally doesnt watch much football, I was counting the amount of absolutely false statements he was making and ran out of fingers in about a 2 min span at one point.
  12. QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Apr 26, 2009 -> 07:27 PM) I'm so pumped the bears got him He'll play here for awhile.
  13. Marcus Freeman is a very good pick for them. At times he was better than little Animal, but just a step slower.
  14. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Apr 25, 2009 -> 10:37 PM) Seabrook really made up for his horrid game 4. He was easily the best player on the ice tonight IMO. His 2 points were a bonus considering he was hitting and poke checking like it was going out of style. Big ups to the Hawks for an awesome game tonight. End these f***ers up in Canada. He sure did. IN fact most of the D were outstanding last night. Buff continues to be a beast.
  15. Am I the only one out there that thought Maualuga was the most impressive LB at USC? He dominated when I saw them play.
  16. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Apr 25, 2009 -> 05:53 PM) I'd take Brown in Indy out producing both of them. I'll take Beanie vs Brown on NFL production any day of the week. Of course Brown may catch more balls which is to your advantage.
  17. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Apr 25, 2009 -> 05:55 PM) Who would have thought at this time last year that both Laurinaitis and Maualuga would fall to the 2nd round? And that a LB from Northern would go before both of them.
  18. QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Apr 24, 2009 -> 11:12 AM) Im sure there have been instances, every fanbase is going to have its fair share of creepers. Just remember everytime you knock cubby fans your knocking bulls/bears fans too which most of us on this board also cheer for. I honestly have no idea what your point is here. Most of the "new" Hawks fans that I hate are also the fairweather Cubs fans I hate as well.
  19. Any takers for Beanie outproducing Moreno in the NFL? Its ridiculous he's fallen this far.
  20. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Apr 25, 2009 -> 05:25 PM) Wow Colts went offense? I guess brown makes a lot more sense than wells because he's more of a pass catcher and a little quicker. Wells DID run a sub 4.4 at the OSU pro day. I really cant believe he hasnt been selected, same with Big Ray.
  21. QUOTE (BearSox @ Apr 25, 2009 -> 09:38 AM) Question, can Fields hit a fastball that 90 mph or fastball? If he can, he certainly can't pull it. I want Fields to succeed, but he is late on everything and can't even hit a 90 mph fastball right down the middle over half the time. If Pitchers were smart, all they would do is pound him inside with fastball, and Fields will be batting .220 at the most this season. If you noticed, about 90% of Fields hits are on breaking stuff down the heart of the plate or away. And, I can't recall Fields actually pulling one ball this whole year. Ahem. Josh Fields hitting: .276 vs fastballs .182 vs curves .161 vs sliders .162 vs changeups 57% of his balls in play are to left field or the left side of the infield. He is hitting .340 on the inside half of the plate, .357 down the middle and .296 on the outside corner. These are all belt high stats. So, really there isnt much about him you have observed correctly.
  22. What was the breaking s*** he was throwing?
