  1. Pitch 1 - Called Strike Pitch 2 - Called Strike Pitch 3 - Foul Pitch 4 - Ball Pitch 5 - Ball Pitch 6 - Ball Pitch 7 - In play, out(s) recorded Alex Rios grounds out, shortstop Geoff Blum to first baseman Paul Konerko.

  6. Good, I hope scotty struggles now instead of later. Baseball comes in waves and we need him at the end.
  7. so people snuck in?
  8. is there an echo in here?
  9. This is exactly the reason why I feel that it is perfectly ok to trade prospects for major league talent. No matter how thrilled the "scouts" are, they are right only 1 percent of the time. The rest is all fluff. Sox fans should know first hand how many of these cant miss prospects dont make it in the show.
  10. I was wondering why they were only calling 2 pitches when he was up. He needs the movement on a fast pitch, and the changeup is a must. Im sure the next time around, he will have more success than before.
  11. its going to be like a fantasy draft on xbox. All these teams are so different now.
  12. this should be a throw in player. We need a C, what the f tallon!!!!
  13. IN the Trib, they said that Shea didnt even know his own offense, half the time he was trying to figure out what the play actually was. He was concentrating on replicating the KC offense so much, that he didnt know what he was doing.

These "experts" also said that when Clemens moved to the national league, he would stop throwing inside. Didnt happen. If you plunk a pitcher, something will go down.
  15. If I was a hockey player in the NHL, chicago wouldnt be very attractive for several reasons. The fact that they are years away from being good is not attractive, they dont like to re-sign their star players, and its one of the only cities where I would be nameless. We dont show our home games on TV, the fan base suffers and so do the players, and their wallets. It pisses me off that we could of had Modano or Forsberg and they chose location over money. In other sports, we get the location choice, Wirtz should be thinking hard about his stupid outdated approach.
  16. Regardless, we may need to make another small impact move. I dont think Blum is going to be the bat that we need IMO
  17. still a horrible coaching move. Paulie has hit most of his HR's against RH pitchers, and has a much better avg.
  18. how was that a strike?
  19. how was that a strike?
  20. how was that a strike?
  21. classic managerial mistake. PLaying the right handed left handed match up. Paul hits righties much better than lefties, harder too.
  22. wow, i cant believe that he said he didnt swing there, thats horrible.
