  1. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 18, 2015 -> 09:43 PM) I think it might be the smoothness of the ice, but there is just something I really enjoy about watching the Hawks play in Edmonton The ice is fast but I hate their lighting. Panarin is out pacing Sharpie and Saad on points so far. Pretty awesome.
  2. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 18, 2015 -> 09:55 AM) MSU fans are still in football mode, fans of the other three schools don't even know they have football teams. Yep. The bball fans arent going to show up for another month or so.
  3. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Nov 18, 2015 -> 02:34 PM) Well, I seem to recall a government slogan, "See something, say something". Some people take that literally. Its not like bystanders have ever thwarted a terrorist attack or anything before..
  4. Well, Ive decided as part of my reno I am going to slip in a 48 inch wolf stove with a griddle. Why the f*** not.
  5. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Nov 18, 2015 -> 12:00 PM) It's an incredibly involved, deep game. I can't imagine never playing a Fallout game before and jumping into Fallout 4, it'd be massively overwhelming especially with how poorly the game explains it's mechanics, often not explaining them at all. I'm still working my way through Assassins black flag and COD ghosts. Im way behind
  6. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Nov 18, 2015 -> 11:02 AM) Some good stuff here: http://kotaku.com/tips-for-playing-fallout-4-1742667904 For someone who's never played a Fallout, it seems like a lot of stuff to remember
  7. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 17, 2015 -> 09:10 PM) Nah. Would be cool if they rotated different teams in and out though cuz I don't see MSU belonging in it. Why not? They are about to get even better than their consistent excellent performance with the influx of talent he has.
  8. A roster reset couldn't have come at a better time. KBD starting to look like a five star.
  9. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 17, 2015 -> 03:36 PM) Building a bomb and blowing things up isn't really related to Sharia law. We've had plenty of home-grown bombers, as well. Unibomber, OKC, Boston Marathon, that failed attempt in Times Square, Atlanta Olympics. You don't need some sort of special ISIS training to build a bomb. Fuel + ignition source = boom. Building it to reliably detonate is a challenge, but it's something anyone with some chemistry and electronics text books could figure out if they wanted. I never said it was, however the entire philosophy behind the attacks are based in ISIS's doctrine and strict adherence to Sharia law. So you need to find a US national, convert him to a very literal interpretation of Islam, train him in arms and bomb making and ship him back to the US. That doesnt sound like some two week vacation in Syria.
  10. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 17, 2015 -> 03:25 PM) Easier to find someone in the US already or with easy access to the US than trying to get in through the refugee process. Plus, you don't really need "trained soldiers" to do exactly what they did in France. To build a bomb and detonation device? I would assume you needed SOME training, not to mention a ridiculous amount of doctrine brainwashing that makes you adhere to Sharia law.
  11. QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 17, 2015 -> 03:02 PM) They could radicalize a former US or Canadian soldier, and then they could go down the street and buy 500 weapons legally. So it would be easier and quicker to completely find, turn and groom a US or Canadian soldier?
  12. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 17, 2015 -> 02:51 PM) Ok but that doesn't really address the point at all! That one can much more easily come from any number of countries that the US routinely issues travel visas for. If ISIS wants to do something in the US, there are much, much easier ways of going about it than trying to get in as a refugee. Much much easier than being allowed to send in a trained solider? Pray tell
  13. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 17, 2015 -> 11:38 AM) All but one looked ugly. I mean i'm happy he was making them, I just don't trust that he'll hit a shot. He should be driving and kicking, not shooting 20 footers. How can a clean bank shot from below the free throw line look ugly? He was by far the most effective offensive player on the floor for the Bulls.
  14. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 17, 2015 -> 11:11 AM) Nikko is pretty worthless if he's not hitting shots. Rose still has the worst jump shot in the entire league. For a guy making so much money, and being out for so f***ing long, you'd think he would have developed one by now. I literally cringe anytime he shoots. "Trying" bank shots from 18 feet? Wtf? I believe he missed only one of those bank shots, and he was by far the best offensive player for the Bulls last night. So.....
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 17, 2015 -> 10:09 AM) Its not that bad Not even close. But hey, love the enthusiasm
  16. QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 10:47 AM) Real life is nothing like Call of Duty. Well unless they had time to leave the venue, go to their car, get their weapon, go back inside and use their one day training class to stalk and kill men armed with AK47's
  17. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 08:07 AM) Terrorists had AK-47s and dressed in all black. Very easy to differentiate between them and the people with the .45s. Also, most gun owners are responsible enough not to shoot across a crowded theater. The ones at close range will take care of it. m No concert hall is going to let someone in with a firearm. Concealed carry is trumped by state laws allowing venues to ban guns, which is pretty much every single place ever. Concerts and sporting events are some of the most highly regulated. Even law enforcement employees arent allowed to carry into those places.
  18. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 08:40 AM) So the Bears play Brock Osewiler on Sunday. Honestly, the only game I wholeheartedly think the Bears lose is Thanksgiving vs Green Bay. I think all other games are winnable and we could finish 9-7. Nothing like losing on Thanksgiving
  19. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 09:31 AM) We have a ton around us. Local pizza places and then specialty places that sell brick oven pizzas. Lou's is the only "chain" we order from, everything else is local.
  20. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Nov 14, 2015 -> 08:18 PM) Toews tries to concuss Backes, Backes then tries to cripple Hjalmarsson. I hate these f***ing games. Someone ought to tell Backes that no one is targeting him. If a hockey team targets a guy, they usually go for the better players. Backes cheap shotted Hossa early
  21. iowa vs Minn is straight old school Big Ten football
  22. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 14, 2015 -> 07:50 PM) Got hurt last week. Back. I'm curious if he's really out for Jim is playing us because before the game, I read he'd miss PSU but be back for OSU. Could be FYI a guy that works on staff at OSU pointed me to Elliott Mealers story. Just wow.
  23. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 14, 2015 -> 07:33 PM) Seriously. I can't wait for bowl season to see if the Big12 really doesn't play defense Arkansas, the Illinois/PSU of the big ten is destroying LSU
  24. Seriously. I can't wait for bowl season to see if the Big12 really doesn't play defense
