  1. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 7, 2015 -> 01:28 PM) Rock, do you think Braxton Miller will end up somewhere else as well? All indications are no at the moment. Dude can't even throw yet.
  2. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 7, 2015 -> 01:03 PM) I'll go with LSU as the destination but Alabama wouldn't surprise me either. If I was Wisconin I would be all over this.
  3. QUOTE (illinilaw08 @ May 7, 2015 -> 12:34 PM) Rock, if you like German Pilsners, hit Prost next time you are in Denver (about a block West of I-25 from downtown). I'll try my best. I really like Krombacher and Braumeister Harvest these days.
  4. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 7, 2015 -> 12:24 PM) Golson transferring. I believe I broke that news on soxtalk.com back in january I wonder if Kelly feels so great about his QB roster now?
  5. Yeah Im not a big IPA fan myself, I like German Pilsners mostly.
  6. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 7, 2015 -> 10:11 AM) It's a good "intro" beer for people who normally drink Coors etc. Anchor Brewing Company, Sierra Nevada and a couple of other west coast brewers along with Boston Beer Company (Sam Adams) are usually the ones credited with starting and growing the craft beer industry. I didn't get to make it to the Sierra Nevada brewery when I was in Chico a few weeks back, but I hope to hit it when I'm back out there again. Yeah but those didnt have the distribution Blue Moon and then Fat tire had at the time. Blue Moon has coors behind it which made it coast to coast. Us beer drinkers obviously tasted the regional beers when we traveled and such but Blue Moon was one of the first to really go nationwide.
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 7, 2015 -> 09:45 AM) Blue Moon is fine for what it is. It is a large step up from the Miller Lites and Coors of the world. But it also a good step below the the White Wings and Hoegaarden's of the world. Sure, but when it was released it was developed at Coors field as a microbrew alternative for mainstream beer drinkers and helped usher in people's appetites for something different. And in Canada its called Rickards White which is cool.
  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 7, 2015 -> 09:01 AM) Without getting into micro's, my favorite beer right now is the new White Wing by Shiner Bock. It is what Blue Moon wanted to be, but failed at. It is sooooo good. Blue Moon helped start the microbrew revolution, it accomplished quite a bit.
  9. QUOTE (Knuckles @ May 7, 2015 -> 12:31 AM) I thought it's all class in the suites. It was on the way out as well. They were not kind, which is kind of out of character for the people up there, I was shocked. I was real happy my hotel was across the street from the stadium that day.
  10. Well. We got one in their building. Need to get two at home.
  11. QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ May 6, 2015 -> 03:53 PM) My personal favorite was in the 3rd when Richards CLEARLY hit the crossbar and the fans yelled, "DUUUUUUUUUUB!" Errr...guys, he didn't do nuthin'. The State of Hockey is in disarray. I went to a game in a suite last year and I still had red stains on my back from the merlot I got thrown on my Keith Jersey. f*** em
  12. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 6, 2015 -> 10:19 AM) The source is whoever Joe Cowley, Dan Bernstein, Terry Boers, Nick Friedell, Chris Sheridan, Woj, etc have talked to. This info is everywhere. It's just not being reported by beat guys. Hasn't K.C. even said that it's over after the season? For them its zero actual sources.
  13. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 6, 2015 -> 08:43 AM) Fixed. Both have completely lost access to any insider information on every team in Chicago. They literally write whatever they feel will generate clicks based on their opinion.
  14. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 6, 2015 -> 08:07 AM) The Ducks have been put in charge of breaking the hearts of loyal, desperate, small town Canada. That game was awesome except for the fans repeatedly throwing s*** on the ice.
  15. QUOTE (bmags @ May 6, 2015 -> 08:50 AM) I think it would, that one is too soft to matter. We needs something more confusing like a Rzepecki I'm still confused as to why Wild fans were chanting the name of the goalie who was single handedly beating them. Thats not really where the goalie chant came from.
  16. We clearly aren't going to get a call. Just go with it.
  17. When will they call a hook on the wild. Two obvious ones on the power play
  18. Who keeps tapping a goalpost by the microphone?
  19. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 5, 2015 -> 08:15 AM) This is more of a Reinsdorf issue than a Kenny Williams issue. Jerry gave them more money, how is this his issue again?
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 5, 2015 -> 04:36 AM) http://chicago.suntimes.com/baseball/7/71/...stand-white-sox On Monday, fans already were calling for a managerial change. The Sox’ front office was not a happy place Monday, but firing Ventura isn’t likely under chairman Jerry Reinsdorf’s watch, the big-league executive said. ‘‘[Adam] LaRoche, [Alexei] Ramirez, Eaton, [Jose] Abreu, [John] Danks, Sale and Samardzija need to pick it up,’’ he said. ‘‘There is no way Jerry Reinsdorf is going to fire Robin Ventura. He’s too loyal.’’ Great, we're probably headed for a "lame duck," lost season. If nothing else, a new manager when the team is psychologically out of the race could at least give the front office a better read on how the team will perform going forward...how much of it is lack of talent/aging veterans and how much of it is attributable to some other variable or "human factor." What "Big League Executive" gave that quote
