QUOTE (kevo880 @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 10:20 AM) Well that's disappointing. What didn't you like about it? It will, by far, be the best course that I have ever played so I can't really imagine being disappointed with it. It looked like an muni course you could find in the midwest except on the ocean. Just not in great shape. I put TPC Scottsdale in the same bucket. My favorite prime time course are Doral and Whistling Straits by far.

2015-2016 NFL Thread
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 10:52 AM) I saw what your buckeyes did to his speed, and i didnt like that at all. In fact, even though he threw for +300, i really didnt like anything i saw from him in the Championship game. You have to take into account his WR group was pretty weak that night as well though. I thought he was the only player on Oregon that was ready for prime time.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 10:21 AM) And because a large amount of Spread offense quarterbacks have failed at the NFL level. I understand Mariota was very good at Oregon, but he wouldnt be the first heisman winning QB that ran a spread offense and fell on his face in the NFL. Depends what kind of spread of course. QB's like Big Ben were in a throwing spread vs an option attack.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 09:54 AM) Arm strength doesnt really bother me so much as the accuracy concerns, and the fact that he has the "system QB" stigma. Just as much as Jay is a poster child for "arm strength isnt everything", he is also a poster child for "accuracy is pretty important" Every single college QB is a "system QB", people just tend to use that again spread ones because its easy. Spread offenses are so different from each other yet its all called a single term. Mariotta is a very good college QB, in fact probably the best one I saw all year. Will that translate? Who knows. I personally think its a combination of intelligence and ability to anticipate that is the most important factor in NFL success. The rest is just stuff for people to debate pre-draft.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 09:55 AM) plain old groomsmen have the best deal. Show up, party, take a few pictures, go home. Yep. Dont have to bring anything to the wedding other than the assigned clothes. Get food and drinks first.

Funny us as Bears fans are critical of QB's succeeding in the NFL because of arm strength when we literally have the poster child QB for "arm strength isnt everything."

Torrey Pines is by far one of the biggest disappointments I've ever had waiting to play a pro course. Maybe you'll have a different experience.

Final Four
QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Apr 7, 2015 -> 12:23 PM) Officiating is a problem that needs to be addressed in college basketball. It is consistently horrendous. There is no standard that they are judged by as they are independent contractors. As for them costing Wisconsin the game. It had a huge effect but coach K schooled Bo with incredible defensive schemes especially down the stretch. Coupled with Jones going Jordan and it was good night.

Lol good for you Bo. But you sucked at the end too.

Final Four
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 10:19 PM) 1) Winslow should have been called for a charge, initiating contact 2) Winslow was out of bounds before he threw it into Okafor for 3 point play in paint 3) Ball off Duke player's fingertips (Jefferson or Winslow) Allen and Jones clearly won this game for Duke. Wisky panicked down the stretch. It had a lot to do with them ending up winning but Wisconsin also choked a bit. That plus Jones. Welcome to the hall of "almost" since 2000 Wisconsin.

The officials have way too much effect on Duke being ahead.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 08:53 PM) Hes gotta let Dekker finish that fast break. And seems like a lot of red in the crowd. Kentucky bought all the tickets and sold them after they lost. It's Madison south.
