  1. QUOTE (bmags @ May 14, 2014 -> 11:08 AM) I can probably just tweet at him and ask. Seeing Kane walk into Palace Grill before the playoffs started gave me confidence in his come back.
  2. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 14, 2014 -> 11:02 AM) My gut feeling says no, it's a fairly significant injury we'll learn about after the season, but for now they'll just keep saying day to day because maybe there's a small chance he can dress at some point, especially if they are playing 3 or 4 weeks from now. Unless I missed something, I haven't seen where he's been skating at all. Maybe really late this series or praying to have him ready enough to play in the SCF if they get there? Keep an eye out for his jeep in the west loop and see how he's walking. He drives a black wrangler unlimited, loves that starbucks.
  3. QUOTE (bmags @ May 14, 2014 -> 10:36 AM) Do people think Shaw will actually come back or do you think he's out for playoffs? Nope, but I am hopeful. He is more valuable than people think.
  4. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 14, 2014 -> 10:17 AM) That client's a f***ing idiot. They could not play more different styles of hockey. Apparently trapping the Hawks and taking away their possession game made them also a slappy trap team.
  5. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/773106...state-the-movie So all the speaking parts are taken but you can still be an extra.
  6. This is going to sound pretty nerdy, but I scored a cheap under $200 Mac Mini and I am going to hook it up to a TV in my house and use the apple wireless mouse and keyboard I already have essentially making it a huge IMAC synced across to my other one.
  7. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 14, 2014 -> 05:22 AM) If I still gave a s***, today Flapship would have some article about when it actually makes sense to chant the opposing goaltenders' names. When they are dominating the f*** out of your team is not the time to chant their names. You'd think fans in Minnesota would be less dumb. Then again, they do live in Minnesota, which is dumb. Bring on the next round and an opponent against which we can play real hockey, not this bulls*** slappy trappy garbage hockey. For "The State of Hockey" they are pretty stupid at times. I spent 30 min arguing with a client when he told me the reason the series was so close is because the teams play the exact same style of hockey.
  8. And the guy Kane beats, Matt Cooke. Fantastic.
  9. That's a grind it out road win to end a series. Couldn't get a call or the puck and find a way to win.
  10. Some guy is probably still chanting Crawfords name.
  11. Trip on Fontaine right in front of the ref.
  12. Lol. And call us on a follow through. Classic.
  13. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 13, 2014 -> 09:34 PM) Crawford has made some great stops tonight. How about a PP for the Hawks?!? They simply won't call a penalty on the Wild right now.
  14. They've got the Hawks so incredibly stretched out.
  15. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 13, 2014 -> 08:45 PM) Wow! Bet the Penguins have a new head coach next year And GM.
  16. Chanting the goalies name less than a minute into the first period. Unprecedented.
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 13, 2014 -> 05:31 PM) Just to defend Nike, I had a pair of new balance shoes a couple years ago and noticed that whenever I wore them my arch/plantar fascia area started hurting. I wore those out, switched back to Nikes, and haven't had pain since. Definitely IMO it was the shoes and I've decided the indonesian 6 year olds who make nikes must be my friends. I fully recommend going to a running store and getting fitted. Every brand fits very differently. I only had luck with Brooks running shoes for some reason.
  18. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 13, 2014 -> 12:21 PM) So for TPC Summerlin, the monthly dues are $509/mo until the member hits 35, and then $560/mo from 35-40, then $838 after 40. They have a pool, as well as tennis facilities. You have to spend at least $200/quarter in the restaurant as well. This includes unlimited golf (walking) and use of the practice range. If you want to ride, they charge $14/23 per person for 9/18 holes respectively. You can bring up to 3 guests per day, and guest fees are $85/135 in season for weekdays/weekends and $65/95 offseason. In season is April-June and Sept-Nov. It's something I am very much considering, although I don't think the wife is going to be down with this unless she really falls in love with golf. I know she will love the social and networking aspects of it, however. That all looks pretty standard. The one I am looking at also adds an annual locker room and pool fee. We will pay around 2,500 for the year pre pay for food/drink.
  19. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 13, 2014 -> 04:43 PM) Internet rumor is that he's a big drinker and wasn't putting basketball high on the priority list. I wonder if that's why he ran from the cops - he knew he was about to be f***ed for good. Right, I mean a DUI has been punished as little as one quarter at some places, so this must have been a lot of stuff.
  20. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 13, 2014 -> 02:02 PM) It's still hurting her, but now it's almost moving back into her arch instead of being really painful whenever there's toe flexion. She switched back to her Merrell hiking shoes when it first started hurting. For the most part, she's walking on the treadmill at 3-3.5 mph but 10-15 incline with a 10-20 pound pack on her back versus running or jogging. It's been getting a little better, but it's not exactly easy to completely rest your foot. She should look at saucony shoes if she can.
  21. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 13, 2014 -> 04:32 PM) "multiple transgressions" So more than just the one arrest? I was going to say that seemed like extreme measures.
