  1. QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 03:42 PM) Late break and bad approach. Why didn't Eaton get it then? It was in the GAP, hammered.
  2. QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 03:41 PM) Not so. He wasn't running hard til it was way late. Lol what? The dude covered a ton of ground. Gordon thought it was gone out of the box he got so much of it.
  3. So people on here actually thought most fielders would have gotten to that?
  4. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 03:34 PM) Garcia, in the eyes of the Royals' announcers, didn't read the wind well at all. Jetstream going out to RF today in KC. Johnson pitching behind to nearly every Royals' hitter, that's a recipe for disaster. Lol. A shot in the gap to the wall? Nobody catches that.
  5. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Apr 3, 2014 -> 07:44 PM) And Conte is having shoulder surgery. Out 5 months. Not a good start for a guy trying to battle for his starting spot. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Im sorry, I thought you just said Conte had a starting spot.
  6. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 08:10 AM) His bad approach worked fine in AAA, which is problematic. To me, he needs to make his adjustments at the ML level. I dont think its things like Mechanics or balance like Beckham has struggled with, I think his pitch recognition needs work and it will come with playing every day at the MLB level. This is rebuilding folks, young players WILL struggle and learn. I hope everyone hasnt forgotten that.
  7. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Apr 3, 2014 -> 09:07 PM) Right, I'm more interested in how likely it is to happen rather than if it's possible though. Well I'm thinking of things that aren't necessarily always there at a young age but can develop and be projected, like say a lack of power. His big weakness is pitch recognition, something that develops with age.
  8. What are things that are easily fixable at that age vs what you said cannot be fixed?

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 3, 2014 -> 05:32 PM) And they don't continually raise your prices. Mine keeps getting lower as I recommend people switch.
  10. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 3, 2014 -> 05:11 PM) Five batters faced so far on the season and no outs. And he was the favorite to be the closer two weeks ago. Favorite by the media maybe.
  11. Man Deangelo Russell is so good. Can't wait to have him in Columbus.
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 3, 2014 -> 05:03 PM) Back to your schedule watching and projections, I see. At least we're better off than Royals fans, who have suffered two heartbreaking losses in a row in DET. The first one, they really choked away. Was actually looking forward to seeing their young phenom pitch in KC, but of course we get the Guthrie/Chen show. Seen that one before. This team isnt going to be all that good, but their energy and talent is already way more enjoyable to watch than 2013.
  13. QUOTE (Andy the Clown @ Apr 3, 2014 -> 04:52 PM) Who cares where he was looking? He's awesome and I wish we had five of him. TaylorStSox cares, and he cares alot.
  14. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Apr 3, 2014 -> 04:50 PM) Unless our dugout is on the 1st base side, he wasn't. He was looking at the 1st base side dugout, pretty clear. Get worked up though.
  15. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Apr 3, 2014 -> 04:46 PM) Arcia knocks in the go ahead run and does fist pumps while staring into our dugout? What a b****. He was looking at his own dugout.
  16. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 3, 2014 -> 04:28 PM) Abreu hit a jam shot to deep CF. WAIT, WHAT. It was on a rope right to CF.
