  1. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 08:23 PM) Michigan got a gift there. Though guess it was deserved. I don't know why they decided to show up and start making calls.
  2. I don't call the flop in that situation.
  3. Michigan real lucky that was a no call. Would have been huge. Let's see what Belein draws up.
  4. Do Michigan fans even like Dakich on the bench?
  5. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 12:17 PM) I wonder if Miggy is still drinking? That contract is even worse in view of his past problems. Overweight DH heading into his mid to late 30's. Sounds like a safe bet.
  6. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 03:08 PM) nope At the moment.
  7. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 03:03 PM) I'm not arguing that players won't be dealt. What I am arguing is that Marty's scenario makes little sense for both teams if what he is asking for were to happen. He wants a top of the rotation starter major league ready prospect which he plans on plugging in the rotation pretty much immediately, and plans on acquiring said starter with Quintana merely because he has a good deal and is the finished product. Doesn't make sense, teams don't ditch Michael Wacha just because they want Quintanas deal. And the Sox shouldn't be looking elsewhere with Quintanas deal just because it is a good deal. They should plan on benefiting from that deal. It makes more sense than the Sox signing Scherzer, but that doesnt say much. And I repeat, the Sox will NOT be bidding on Scherzer.
  8. QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 02:54 PM) I'd like to think Michigan ends up winning by 10 but anyone can beat anyone right now so it's natural to be worried. Tennessee isn't turning the ball over and Michigan is not very good defensively, so that could be a big problem. If Michigan doesnt go ice cold they will win. They are very dependent on their long range shots falling, as long as they do, they wont get beat.
  9. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 02:00 PM) But Clowney was a productive player before he got drafted. As a sophomore, he had 13 sacks and 23.5 TFLs. As a junior, there was a combination of extra blockers on him (hence, Kelcy Quarles 9.5 sacks as a DT), doing his best to prevent injury (because he was a teammate of Marcus Lattimore who was considered such an explosive runner that there were talks of him as a top 10 pick even in this day and age), plus he still had 11.5 TFL. Oh, so he didnt try on purpose? How come so many other top DE's that come out are productive with double teams while other teams game plan for them as well? That TFL stat doesnt put him in the top 100.
  10. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 12:52 PM) I'm glad it isn't my decision to make, but if You line him up opposite of a guy who commands double teams, you have to think he will succeed That's not my number one pick though. That's a good need first round pick for someone but as an overall number one? I want the guy who commands double teams, not the guy who benefits.
  11. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 12:29 PM) Sure didn't hurt Bruce Smith. Lol. Once again people like to bring up players who were productive before they got drafted. Smith won the Outland trophy his last year in college.
  12. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 12:04 PM) Schefter reporting that Jackson's gang connections are a big reason he is out I'd still take him.
  13. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 11:24 AM) Interesting that the Texans don't want to add Clowney to their already elite defense and then groom a QB Is he really the value you want at a #1? A guy with motivation issues who can be a one trick pony?
  14. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 10:01 AM) What about Masterson though Rock? With the way Hahn has been targeting sinker ballers for the bullpen, you have to think Masterson would make a ton of sense for our rotation, especially playing at the Cell. I don't particularly see them targeting large free agents for the rotation at the moment. How far along the team comes this year could also have a lot to do with it.
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 09:57 AM) That might be a little high... They literally won't even consider him. Not even on their list.
  16. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 09:40 AM) I mean who wouldn't want to pay a 35 year old Miguel Cabrera and a 35 year old Justin Verlander a combined 60 million in 2018? That is just good business. Alfonso Soriano approves this post.
  17. 0.0 chance. Thanks for playing.
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 28, 2014 -> 09:40 AM) If he is there when the Bears are on the clock, they had better take him. I don't care if we have Cutler signed long term, you don't let a guy like that walk away. He still spins the ball better than most of the QBs coming out IMO.
  19. Verlander and Cabrera will cost them 60 million per year. For two players. Wow.
  20. I hope Wisconsin has a fab five type effect on kids and instead of long shorts and black socks they all want to be polish with buzz cuts.
  21. Dayton rioted like a motherf***er last night. Tear gas an everything.
  22. QUOTE (G&T @ Mar 27, 2014 -> 06:06 PM) I just started gamma. It's been an awesome workout. I've never done weight work that is so intense, but this is the first time I've ever stuck with any workout for 2-3 months. How's your progress? Any advice?
  23. Roughly 7 weeks in, about 3 inches gone from waist.
