QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 11:06 AM) Why would Cincinnati want Freeman when they have Andy Dalton? Because Dalton is terrible.

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 10:57 AM) It's actually kinda remarkable how few places there are for Freeman to go. Would Buffalo really pick him up with their commitment to manual, even if Manual is out a long time? Browns - they are probably going to draft a QB or give Weeden one last year with Hoyer out Tennessee - Maybe Jax - I can't see them doing anything productive this year. Arizona - Maybe. Minnesota - Maybe It's amazing how many teams have pretty stable QB positions now. Cle, Cinci, AZ, Minny

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 10:09 AM) You named one game. I'd say this is absolutely one of the biggest games in the program's history. On a side note, I apparently could have been able to meet the gameday crew tomorrow(which would have meant Samantha Ponder!!!!) if I wasn't stuck in Wisconsin. She is f***ing gorgeous. I get the impression she's a need b**** though. Ponder wears his wedding ring during games, I bet she makes him. -

QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 08:06 AM) I did the same early last week with the two talking to another OSU fan. I don't know much about Elbert, although I've heard he's huge. Would have liked to pick up Okonoboh, but it seems he and Perea would be pretty redundant. He chose UNLV over playing in the Big Ten. Not much else you can do there. Robinson is big. Our first choice probably is Turner, but it looks like he may be Kansas-bound. We were in on Turner real early so I was hoping that would help. -

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 4, 2013 -> 09:45 AM) Am I the only one thinking NW is going a bit overboard about their game tomorrow? Wilbon was on ESPN this morning (Mike & Mike and GameDay are also in town) and he was saying this is one of the biggest games in program history. Rose Bowl game > annual Big Ten game against OSU in my book. Well, the game isnt annual. They havent played since 2008. It's also one of their only primetime games ever. It's a very bg game for exposure for them. -

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 1, 2013 -> 03:08 PM) Ok, sorry, had previously typed this on my phone, so let me elaborate now that I have a keyboard in front of me. It's not that it's not beneficial to take protein post workout, it's that it's not *necessary*. It's necessary to get carbs post workout, as your body is the perfect place to utilize them to maximum potential for recovery. So long as your body is being supplied with ample protein throughout the day, the muscle rebuilding process will take place. Post workout there is a small window (30-60 minutes) to take carbs and use them to max benefit...while no such restriction exists on protein intake. That said, if post workout happens to be the time you usually take protein along with carbs, by all mean, do so. But the timing in which you take protein after a workout is the myth we are talking about. A lot of people claim it's necessary to drink protein post workout, it's not. For me, I need to take carbs+protein after a workout because I need to be full and the protein helps me with that. I've also found that the added protein helps me with soreness. Some people just drink a shake and s*** it all out immediately. Seriously.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 3, 2013 -> 03:11 PM) So tressel does have a show cause. We were discussing that. Say he was hired effective immediately, do you think it applies to this season? Goes until 2016 I believe. It's not a crazy Bruce Pearl-like Show cause, but you still need to explain why you are hiring him to the NCAA. He has to miss the first 5 weeksand the bowl game if they make it. Other than that, progress reports every 6 months. I dont believe USC could do that. Maybe a MAC team or something. -

Asst strength coach was running money from agents to bama players, Ha Ha Dix suspended for taking the money, the coach also suspended. Sounds like LOIC to me, and Bama would be a multiple offender. -

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 3, 2013 -> 02:28 PM) Me and a friend were talking about the USC situation and I brought up a name that both of us thought would be perfect for them right now, Jim Tressel. I think Del Rio would be a terrible hire Not sure you follow a slimeball like Kiffin with a guy who still has a show cause penalty to his name. -

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 04:53 PM) That's fish tape. It's for pulling wires through conduits/walls. It's a long, flexible plastic rod. No idea how you'd find the pre-wired speakers if they didn't terminate them at a panel or left them in an outlet box. Can find a main box either. I've found the two back wires and the front right one. No idea where they go.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 04:01 PM) Yep, that's the easiest way. And get one of these: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Klein-Tools-Dep...56005/100660167 It'll save you a ton of time/frustration. Excuse my ignorance, what does that thing do? And how would I use it? Also for you experts. I've found out I have pre-wired speakers in my living room/deck. But how do I find the wires?

QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 04:45 PM) What do you pay for Comcast? My wife insists we pay $25 for the home phone so we have Comcast home phone and Internet it is $91 a month. DirectTv customer service is, IMHO the best in the business. I have DirectTV, Comcast home phone and internet and AT&T cell phone. The comcast internet I believe comes in at 60 bucks or so, ill check. For phone I use skype for now since its free through work, however I am investigating that as well. The comcast voice seems super pricey, as well as vonage now.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 03:02 PM) How fast is it? In my experience, Uverse is dogs*** slow. There is a speedtest from Chicago to LA (~1700+ miles), it's why I stick with Comcast...I'm pretty much forced to use their Internet, because it's amazing. It's DSL, so its limited based on many factors, one being distance from hub.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 02:55 PM) Yeah, I get out the door DTV Genie + Comcast internet for around $150. It's the best of both worlds, there's no reason to put up with Comcast's crap. They finally released a DVR that can compete somewhat with the Genie and the Hopper (the X1) but it still has one fewer receiver and they still charge way too much for extra boxes. The Genie clients are amazing and as previously mentioned - the size of a coaster. And of course Comcast can NEVER compete with satellite when it comes to HD feed. Picture quality is, you know, important. That's roughly what I am paying for 5 tv's + one of Comcast's faster internet speeds. I was paying 260-280ish for comcast without any of their "coupons" for 2 tv's+internet before.
