LOL, i should slowly back away. My wife actually isnt the type who cares at all, however I was dating a girl back in the day that led me to put away a bunch for this occasion. keep in mind also, its not really going to lose a bunch od value or anything, plus its something that can always be handed down over generations. just my two cents: Go with what makes you and your girl happy. Most likely the memories of the actual process and wedding will be priceless anywa.

Looked at that unit yesterday, very nice but not with a lot of "living room" space. However a very large unit. The part that I liked is the agent told me he isnt paying attention to the comps as the owner wants list price. I can respect someone who is honest like that and I will probably walk away even though I like it. The comps are about 30k less than his list.

I've cut a pretty good deal before with landlords. As long as they have time to find a new tenant its usually ok. Going to see that new place today with offer in hand.
