  1. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Feb 20, 2013 -> 10:54 AM) You have to make sure the right people pick up that package your leaving downstairs. It's much more of a pain in the ass than you're leading onto here...highly glossed over issues with mail order. It's more than just printing out a label. It's boxing it up securely, then it's waiting for it get shipped...then it's waiting for it to get looked at...then it's waiting for a return shipment...and hoping that return shipment isn't broken, too. I could have been to the store and back again with a full replacement in that amount of time 50 times over...if not more. The advantage to Amazon was the pricing and the tax evasion. Now that they're losing those advantages via price matching at local stores and taxes being charged, I find it far less convenient. The rest of it's nothing but disadvantages no matter how much you gloss it over here. I'm not glossing anything over. Tape the box, tape the label, leave for Felix downstairs. Replacement to me in 2 business days, about th same time my refund is processed. I also have an online record or the whole thing. So muh easier than driving around the city to different stores to find what I want.
  2. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Feb 20, 2013 -> 10:47 AM) We all knew they'd eventually run out of states they could run too and ship out of. It was one of the main advantages of using them. I love Amazon, but I hate mail order. I really hate it. It's so much easier to go to a local Best Buy/H.H. and return a broken or malfunctioning item than it is to box it up and ship it back. Printing out a label and leaving it downstairs is supremely easy. Much easier than driving, Parking and waiting.
  3. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 20, 2013 -> 08:56 AM) Is he off on an around the world adventure? He got hired for a biker build off reality show.
  4. Apparently Hansen has a review with the NHL at 3pm eastern today. I dont see how you can argue he was doing anything other than trying to knock Hossa off the puck with a forearm to the head. Of course, the Canucks dont see it that way
  5. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 20, 2013 -> 07:49 AM) Yeah, when he had the puck in the center of the ice and didn't clear it, you knew disaster was lurking. Yeah that was strange, all he had to do was give it a little flip. Alot of errors in those last 4 min.
  6. Lol. Zeller wasnt even born the last time IU won at MSU? Crazy.
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 19, 2013 -> 08:20 PM) He totally jumped into sheehy He took a step towards him which was the mistake.
  8. And the whistles are tucked away. This game is all types of crazy.
  9. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Feb 19, 2013 -> 06:45 PM) Oladipo would be just a horrible fit for the Bulls. Hulls travels, thinks the refs called it, then IU buries a three. LOL at MSU. Nah great fit. Teddy V has to start homering a little here.
  10. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 19, 2013 -> 06:36 PM) Will Vitale give Magic a Happy Ending before the end of the game? Should of had Thomas and magic. I salivate at the possibility of a Rose/Oladipo backcourt. Of course it won't happen.
  11. Whichever team plays defense in transition is going to win, although that feat looks nearly impossible.
  12. Wow what a pace. How can anyone doubt that this is the best conference in the land.
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 19, 2013 -> 05:28 PM) Honestly, all the Indiana alum in this group cares about is basketball Fixed.
  14. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 19, 2013 -> 05:23 PM) Yeah 1 division will always be considered stronger and its whatever division OSU is in. Wisconsin basically picked the perfect time to go to 3 Rose Bowls, because they get to move to the perceived weaker division. I really dont like the pod system. And if there was going to be a pod system, I would expect that Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska would be in the same pod. It wouldnt make much sense to move Illinois to that group. But I really dislike pod system, I just want 2 divisions. I think they are fairly set on having 2 big divisions with the big title game at the end. They want to be like the SEC with a larger recruiting area and actual academics. To your unbalanced division comment, I think there are ups and downs and whatnot, but I still believe for whatever reason they want Texas or Oklahoma or both to add to that "west" division. In theory that evens things out quite a bit.
