  1. Yoga is extremely difficult, which is why men dont do it because it makes them look like p*****s in front of a group of yoga pants wearing hotties.
  2. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 25, 2013 -> 03:14 PM) I've condensed my workouts down to about 40 minutes by adding super sets and drop sets. Higher intensity, less time in the gym. Perfect. I take literally zero breaks. I group my exercises into groups of 3-6 and do 2-3 sets, grab water and back at it. I burn usually 600-900 calories that way with weight training. So much better than 2 hours with HUGE breaks like I see alot of dudes doing.
  3. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 25, 2013 -> 03:21 PM) There's obviously been a lot of good tweets abou teo since this whole ordeal got started but I just heard this one and it made me laugh..."how low do you think Teo's awareness rating will be in Madden?" Did you see the "updated scouting report" one? I'll have to look for it but it was hilarious. Sounded serious at first till you thought about it.
  4. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Jan 25, 2013 -> 02:28 PM) Have any guys on here ever tried yoga? I lift and run a couple times per week, but I'm debating about whether to give this a try. I think the increased flexibility would aid in preventing injuries as I get ready to train for a Fall marathon, and although I think I would feel ridiculous chanting, I'm intrigued by the stress relief its supposed to bring. Yes, its a good way to incorporate stretching into your routine, as you age flexibility is much more important.
  5. Thats a pretty short workout, like 30 min?
  6. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 24, 2013 -> 08:16 AM) A big thing fells and ladies are going for right now is to have a circle of cluster diamonds as the setting, around say a 1-1.5 carat diamond. Those things are everywhere, they're sensible price-wise, and they look huge. Thats because it makes the stone look alot bigger than it is, good if you are on budget. However like above huge setting look weird on certain hands. I went with just a single round cut stone and because of the size (roughly 2.5) anything else on there would have looked like she was a real housewife.
  7. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Jan 25, 2013 -> 10:34 AM) Report: Female Tuiasosopo cousin was voice on voicemail She lives in Samoa and was on the phone every night for up to 8 hours? Hard to believe.
  8. Thats what Crow does though. Makes about 10-15 fantastic game-saving plays but then allows a dribbler in under his pads.
  9. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 25, 2013 -> 09:59 AM) 2008 - 2013 basketball is more fun to watch and a much better product than any era in the history of the game. Eh. It is fun to watch in that now its all about offense and the players are overall more athletic but its tough to top the Bird vs Magic years as far as entertainment. If only they had as much exposure as the game does today, I mean back then they even aired taped delayed game.
  10. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 25, 2013 -> 12:13 AM) 90's basketball > 2000-2013 basketball. Lol. Yes, that's not exaggerating at all. If Thomas, Jordan, Magic and Pippen represent the entire 90's then maybe I'd be on board. Of course that's not what anyone said, but hey, dynamite drop in.
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 24, 2013 -> 11:25 PM) basketball reference lists Scottie at 210, Carmelo at 230. I see Scottie at 228. Carmelo is soft, he doesn't play defense like Scottie at multiple positions and I don't see Melo as a "vastly" more powerful player at all.
  12. That's pretty clearly voice editing software in those calls.
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 24, 2013 -> 08:54 PM) I was driving on I-65 on the overpass above the main Lafayette exit and had a semi tire explode literally right next to my car. Managed to avoid death by probably less than a foot. They also won't give me a job interview. That's right where I totaled my car a few years ago and should have died. Awful highway.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 24, 2013 -> 11:10 PM) Scottie is a twig compared to Carmelo. Seriously. Scottie has some length but Carmelo has the same level of speed as scottie, maybe more, with vastly more power than Scottie had. No way. They are the exact same size and Scottie defended 3 positions at an elite level. You don't remember Scottie accurately. More power? Really?
  15. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jan 24, 2013 -> 05:00 PM) Purdue fouls on literally every possession. I'm not sure I've seen a team at any level that holds and hand checks as much as they do. Duke.
  16. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 24, 2013 -> 05:51 PM) Wait, you'd take Rose over Magic? I'm a homer and I love me some D, but prime Magic? IMO he's one of the only guys in the discussion with those two. The only pg who is also an MVP caliber player. It could be homerish but I don't care. I have mad respect for Isiah as well. His game is underrated nowadays.
  17. The fake call record spreadsheet was weird. This whole thing is so creepy.
  18. Anyone find it odd he would save the voicemails after finding out it was fake?
  19. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 24, 2013 -> 04:53 PM) You also have to consider how physical the game was back then. Do you think Wade would be so tough if he got body slammed by the Bad Boys? Jordan dealt with that s*** all the time. Hand checking, opponents who werent best friends since AAU and a further out 3 point line made the game a bit more difficult.
  20. QUOTE (Boogua @ Jan 24, 2013 -> 04:48 PM) i can't believe I forgot about Zeke. Damn. Good call. In the midst of his career he average 20 points and 10 dimes and only got better in the playoffs. He was stellar.
  21. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 24, 2013 -> 04:43 PM) The PGs of today would kill that bunch. Same with the 3/4's Yikes, maybe. There were some great PG's back there, but they are obviously more physically gifted nowadays. I would still take Isiah Thomas and Magic over pretty much anyone these days other than D Rose.
  22. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 24, 2013 -> 03:32 PM) I dont disagree that Wisconsin is physical. I just think its nonsense to say that Wisconsin is so physical that 1) you are worried about the health of your team so much that you are just "overjoyed" that no one was injured, not caring whether you won or lost (convenient when Indiana hasnt won in 11 games) or 2) that they are so beyond other Big 10 teams that youd forget about Purdue. I cant recall ever getting "beat up" by Wisconsin in bball. Going into West Lafayette is another story.
  23. QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Jan 24, 2013 -> 01:18 PM) I'll give you that LeBron is bigger and stronger, but I don't buy for a minute that LeBron is faster, a better shooter and definitely not a better defender. Jordan's first step is as fast as anybody's that's ever played the game. LeBron does not nearly have the jumper that Jordan developed during his first retirement. Calling LeBron a better defender kinda makes me laugh. Jordan had multiple 200 steal / 100 block seasons. Lebron has not done either one of those things in any season, let alone in the same season. I totally agree with you. People forget how great Jordan actually was at times. Pick up a Jordan DVD and watch game footage. Defensively he was outstanding, offensively he had probably the quickest first step and concurrent acceleration than anyone in history including LeBron.
  24. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 24, 2013 -> 11:30 AM) They body people. They do it constantly, so the refs either let them play that way, or they are calling fouls every trip. They're not the worst - Butler and Purdue IMO are the worst - but Wisconsin does it too. You don't have to slap or reach to be overly aggressive on defense. OSU is one of the more agressive defensive teams in the conference but dont get called for a ton of fouls. The number of fouls is not a great indicator.
