  1. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 02:15 PM) Only if you did it right. Quick, hard, left to right blow out, and then you throw it back in. I am a gentle movers slowly right then left while tapping the reset button. I can get almost every game to work right away. And mine is my original console.
  2. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 10:14 AM) Important note - certain lifts need a spotter when you do negatives! Im sure im not the only one that has had to wiggle out from under a barbell on the bench.
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 01:31 PM) The only personal insult I saw in that sequence was you to rock. Wait, that was supposed to be an insult? I dont get it.
  4. At this point it would make more sense to not feed the trolls guys. You arent going to get a relevant answer that would satisfy you.
  5. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 01:01 PM) How is this on topic? Weren't you the one complaining about people going off topic? I'm not really sure what his point was anyway. Does he think im an MSU fan?
  6. Thornton is simply one of the most valuable lh pen guys on the market. Veal isn't even close. The fact that this is being stated is laughable.
  7. Yeah I'm not going for size. So I generally do around 60-70 exercises for about 30 second each with 10 second breaks.
  8. QUOTE (YASNY @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 02:15 AM) To me, Game Two of the ALCS was the iconic moment of the post season. And I was in the stands.
  9. This pisses me off so much. My good is hurting, I'm hurting, come on guys.
  10. QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Dec 20, 2012 -> 11:27 PM) As much as I hate to see A.J. not retire in a Sox uniform, I feel like this is the best move for the Sox. Thanks, for 2005 A.J. and some of the most memorable games I've ever attended in my life. I'll never forget Game 2 of the ALCS, and that sucker punch you took from Barrett. Really created some great memories with my dad. Good luck in Texas and keep driving those Halo fans crazy. He still may. He will play several more years.
  11. Should go down as one of the best Sox of all time. Brought it 162 games a year regardless of the team around hi One of KWs best pickups. Ill miss him.
  12. QUOTE (BaseballNick @ Dec 20, 2012 -> 05:51 PM) I disagree. I don't think Robin or Coop trusted Thornton in high pressure situations last year and did everything they could to not put him in them. He's still considered one of the best LH relievers in the game. He has alot of value and I expect contending teams on paper to call for him very soon. I see us getting A or AA talent in return.
  13. 7.5 million is not close to what the Sox would have paid if they could have gotten him on the cheap. I honestly see that money going towards one of the trade target's contracts. If we unloaded more players during last season I would have expected us to sign Saunders as they tried to acquire him last season. Now I assume after we unload Floyd we are going to reinvest in the pen/OF
  14. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Dec 20, 2012 -> 11:15 PM) I don't see how you can even knock a sure fire one and done for going to Kentucky at this point? You cant, just play PG for Cal and you will be a top draft pick. You will make millions going to KY as a one and done.
  15. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Dec 20, 2012 -> 07:30 PM) You never know with LeBron, he's a front runner. He donates greatly to both schools though and even Cal introduced him at halfcourt before a game two years ago. Trust me he was all buckeye, especially at the time. He said it numerous times and there wasnt going to be much recruiting if he had to stay a year. He would have turned our program around one year early.
  16. QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Dec 20, 2012 -> 06:29 PM) LeBron would have went wherever WWW wanted him to go. Logic says with Cal, as he's a frequent visitor at Rupp. False. He's said numerous times he would have gone to OSU. One of the many articles http://m.usatoday.com/article/news/1651709 He is in Columbus more than Lexington, and he donates a s***load to the school and team.
  17. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Dec 20, 2012 -> 04:59 PM) The White Sox must have really not wanted him back. I thought they would do a 1 year deal. Must be for like $8-$10 million. I thought it was around 4 mil, but I havent seen it yet. The Sox just simply wanted to move on and re-purpose that money.
  18. I think that shows you how bad the market is for him.
  19. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 20, 2012 -> 04:24 PM) There's no way there's no market for Thornton. He's a reliever with 1 year left on his deal (plus an option) so the value isn't incredible, but I just can't and won't believe there's no value or market there. LOL, yeah that was ridiculous, there is a very good market for a left handed power pitcher out of the pen.
  20. The SI article explaining his choice is horribly written. And easy John Benedict, LeBron wasnt going to Duke, he was all Buckeye.
  21. QUOTE (The Ultimate Champion @ Dec 20, 2012 -> 02:39 PM) You guys are all making sense. What I loved about Kenny though was the fact that he would make a move without thinking all day about whether or not it was a mistake. Aggressiveness is an excellent quality for a GM to have and I see none of it with Hahn. It seems like Hahn is playing it way too safe and I don't like that one bit. Kenny is still in charge of the vision and I dont see one shred of evidence that the bolded is true.
  22. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 20, 2012 -> 02:39 PM) Suddenly you've made me feel much better about my weight training routine. I prefer a much more rounded routine with alot of change day to day because I feel it gives you a much more well rounded physique and caloric burn, however if you are looking for growth, focus is invaluable.
  23. QUOTE (The Ultimate Champion @ Dec 20, 2012 -> 02:11 PM) What's the point of baseball if you're not even going to try? I've said this before and I'll say it again: bring out the monster trucks. US Cellular in 2013 + Gravedigger = match made in heaven. There has been quite a bit of activity with the Sox FO, just because nothing has gone down yet doesnt mean it wont. As of now the pitching options on the marketplace are dwindling, and yet here we are with a few really good trade chips both RH and LH. WE also have a lead off hitter, a middle of the order corner guy and a young development prospect who are all on the block. Oh, we also have some VERY good established pen arms on the block. The Sox are open for business and its just a matter of time.
  24. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 20, 2012 -> 02:16 PM) Actually, his announcement isn't for another 45 minutes. I think someone at the Lansing Journal jumped the gun on the "publish" button. They better hope he is choosing MSU. LOL. Dukies are thinking that its false. WHo knows. The OSU insiders have been saying MSU all along.
