QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 09:18 AM) If by solid you mean attributing unnamed sources quotes to Danks, then yes. very solid. nothing like calling your own report solid

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 02:02 AM) Awesome, Koenning has been great for us and hopefully comes back. And hopefully we bring in a good OC. Illinois along with UCLA also received the coaching exemption so Beckman can begin recruiting immediately even with the previous staff in the place. I wonder if ESPN is going to run a story how its unfair to other teams, maybe Hoke and Brandon can give us some more quotes. -
I get the feeling Danks isnt going to be happy how Cowley spin his leading questions to make him look this way today. Joe and Beckham got into a mini twitter fight last night already when Joe said Becks wouldnt have a good year since he's a headcase.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 08:22 PM) I don't want to see a Luol Deng-led Bulls team with Carlos Boozer playing the sidekick role. That's 30 wins. Tops. So they'd be a .500 team without Rose?

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 08:09 PM) Theo Ratliff was traded mid-season for Mutombo. A 4-time DOPY and the modern day Bill Russell. I'm sorry. The rosters don't look that much different to me. Yes but your view is skewed. Its actually kind of fun to watch you underrate the Bulls every season now.

Dunn recommits. I'm hoping when the sanctions come down this week or next it doesnt ruin all this momentum. -

QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 04:57 PM) It's funny, all guys like Kyle Orton and Grossman did were "win" for a while, but got 0 credit because everyone could see they sucked. But Teblow is the rare case where his teams defense is playing exponentially better over the course of this "miracle" run + a game like the Bears where he literally had no impact on the victory...yet he gets praised like the 2nd coming. Religion does funny things to logic Craig. Krenzel. -
QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 04:55 PM) Knicks have added some great defensive players this offseason in Chandler and Shumpert, but I highly doubt their coach will motivate them to defend as hard as they need to. Not sure he can coach defense. The Bulls bench will beat up pretty much any bench in the league, and thats what helps make a regular season record. A full season of all of their players also improves the Bulls overall.

QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 04:07 PM) I haven't really seen anything positive for it, beside that it does help you shop for amazon products easier. http://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Fire-Amazon-T...howViewpoints=1 5500 reviews already on amazon for it. TONS of info there.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 03:31 PM) Anyone have a Kindle Fire? The wife wants one for X-Mas, and I want to ensure they aren't piles of trash. I have one in a box sitting on my counter ready to get wrapped. What does you wife want to do with it? I demoed one and it pretty much does basic crap. Its also very small and portable

In this case I believe Mrs Pujols. The cards low-balled a guy who would have stayed for a discount. Pretty big mistake.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 03:41 PM) Hamilton is goose dung. Marion brought athleticism, rebounding and versatility defensively. He could effectively guard 2's, 3's and 4's. Rip doesn't address a single need for the Bulls. Forget about the Heat. How are the Bulls better than the Knicks? Full year of Carmelo and the second best defensive C in the game > Boozer staying healthy, RIP. Really?

QUOTE (CyAcosta41 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 01:19 PM) Hey Jake, I didn't mean to imply that he had no stuff, rather that Dylan's stuff seems a tick better -- more oomph on the heater, some later movement, more bite on the breaking-stuff. The guy may be a bust but I really saw some similarities between his style and others, most notably Hudson. He throws across his body with a loose arm action which adds some sink and also a ton of late bite to his pitches. His fastballs move away from lefties and in towards righties. I still think this motion lends itself to shoulder injury in the future, it appears to at least make the pitcher harder to pick up for hitters.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 03:05 PM) Correct. I'm impressed at how I missed that, since I've read this thread. My bad. You made sure to call the line a few times just to confirm right.....

QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 01:33 PM) You have to start a data plan if you want 3G. It's $20 or 30 a month, and I believe they allow you to cancel at any time. What you can do is just use your WiFi signal and download anything you need before you leave, such as movies, books, etc., and then just use your phone if you really need to check someone on the internet or see an email, etc. I didn't see the need to have redundancy since I always carry my phone with me. I just try to anticipate when I will want someone on my iPad before I take it somewhere where there will not be a WiFi signal available. Right, I also use my iphone as a hot spot if I really need connection.

Koenning offered a position to stay at Illinois. Good move by Beckman if he can get him to stay. Also VT cant sell their tickets for the Sugar bowl, solidifying why they shouldnt have been invited in the first place. -
I've been mentioning it as well, I personally think his stuff translates to the majors. His motion was alot like Daniel Hudson's

QUOTE (Espy.Teahen @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:34 AM) just because I like different style of qbs does not mean I don't know football. I'd test my knowledge against anyone here. Don't be so quick to be a jerk. You are canadian now, football is played indoors with all the Richards you can drink. -
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:30 AM) These are just more reasons Tebow sent Derrick Rose to us straight from heaven.

QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:11 AM) Eh screw him. I don't want a "superstar" who also wants to be a GM. Sure superstar, even though you didn't go to college and probably read at an 6th grade level, i'll make sure to consult you on how to spend hundreds of millions of dollars. I dont understand how this is now the norm in the NBA.
