Just as we got rid of Izzy, you bump this up. Have you no shame, Sir?

Wilde is da man! Good f***in' question. Gotta be Guinness/Harris/Jacobi/Broadbent/Gielgood-like chameleon. FSJ's Chrisopher Lee suggestion is not bad at all.

Like in that Seinfeld up, with Newman and Kram'a?

And we pay Buerhle 18 over 3....

Yes, he was no Sonny Chiba

Cubs make it to the World Series and I am done with this franchise. f*** em.

It has always been my enlightened contention that Kilborn and Kimmel fans should be sterilized for the good of mankind. Quebecistan wanted Conan. They knew he is morre irreverent than Leno. They got burned and now the outrage? Are they for real with that "this is racist filth" garbage? Critic is right, the Star Wars putdown was priceless.

His narcissistic and violent fratboy persona was played out before it began. But the Chanukah song is still hilarious and then there is Punch-Drunk Love, which I liked. Then again, I also liked Rushmore and Royal Tenembaums and most people didn't, so what do I know.

As much as I'd like to credit for it, I think you're confusing me with my doppleganger. Your Valentine date must've put a spell on you something wicked, 'cuz I was not very kind to Cold Mountain in the Globes thread. Just ask Cali. I been hyping Jude Law for ages, though.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, even non-Chicago liberals. Of course that won't stop me from ridiculing them and their ignorant, hypocritical and/or immoral ilk on occasion or two. But ultimately, I realize that this is supposed to be a true Democracy, with every ideological and political "inconvenience" such distinction entails. If not Kerry or Edwards ot Clark, then give me MaCain, give me Powell, give me Libermann, give me Hilary, give me Gore, give me Sharpton, give me Slick Willie for unconst. 3rd term....anybody but Debuy'ya.

That's they way I have looked it ever since my conscience came out of the closet a few years back.

Of course it doesn't matter. To me. I want the uber-scumbag Bush and his neo-con fundamentalist cronies G-O-N-E, and if it takes a lesser scum-bag Kerry or Edwards, fan-f***in'-fastic. As such, obviously I am willing to overlook such tiny offense as occasional secretary-schtupping. More power to him. Call it seeing the forest for the trees. YMMV.

I want the White Sox to get Maddux instead. Is it too much to ask? JR, get on it.

No rush.

Pfffff....I knew that.

How the hell do you upload a sig from your comp? Damn, I hate computers almost as much as I hate Black people.

A child genius once remarked that when he looks at the board, the figures are connected by patterns of laser-like strings (hey, maybe the super-string nature of the universe is not BS afterall! lol) of various colors and thickness. The more beautiful and intricate they are, the higher the chance that the move is an optimal one. Make of it what you will.

Curt Henrick sounds good to me.

You're preaching to the choir here. I was critical of him after I've seen him early (couple of s***ty games he had), but after 2-3 more games it was obvious that this dude is the best plater on the Bulls. I disagree about his conditioning-- he is non-existent in 4th quarters and has by far his best numbers in the 1ST.....does that remind you of another Bull, lolol. But that's ok, he will work hard and by 2006 will be alright. Heinrich might never be a passer Stockton was (14 assists a game in his prime? are you kidding?) but he will still be one of the best in the league; he won't have as many steals, but his size and quickness will help him defend and rebound better; finally, once he masters the come-off-the-screen thing, Henryk will be a better scorer than Stock. At the same time, do NOT expect Iversonian feats from Kirk this soon. Nobody dominates this game in his first season. And even after that, chances are Kirk is gonna need his Malone next to him to do most of the scoring. That's why it's imnportant for Eddy, Jamal to continue improving and and an impact FA (Iverson?). Then you'll see what he can do.

Fine...game, it's good for the game....happy now? I dunno about you, but I find it amazing that a 15-year-old girl from a poor Indian (redundant) province can walk in and BLOW a 35-yo male master pro off the table.

No speed chess. Speed chess to traditional chess is what indoor football crap is to NFL. Tournament or not, beat the main contender with a healthy margin, that's all I care about. Titles, rankings-- they are all secondary. IMO. I've seen B&W tape on Fisher as 14yo protege. He was showing his insanity, er, irritability back then. What a waste. I can't include commie lackey Karpov (*thup* - that's the sound of Korchnoi landing another kick, lolol) because of how consistently he was beaten by Garry. Same for Spasky and Fisher. Capablanca works for me. Gotta include an old-old-timer, right? Anand is an awesome talent evven if not a great player pe se. Kramnik is solid and their mid-late-90s rivalry was fun. Another thing I liked about those two is that they blocked that creepy expat Gata Kamsky and his domineering father from getting their slimey paws on the crown as they have plotted since the former was still a fetus. Do you follow women's chess? There are tremendeous under-16 rivalries; the sport is dominated by Indian and Chinese phenom girls and I think it's great for the sport.

I might be a retard but my dick is still much bigger than yours.

I want to reiterate: what you see of JC, EC and KH is NOT the final product. They will be VERY good, mark my words. I had the Bulls luckly to win 35 games back in November because I thought their talent wasn't ready. This team needs an impact player, to take some pressure off those youngsters while they learn the gama ala Artest/Jermaine O'Neil.. Kobe won't come here, but Iverson might just be that player.
-
Not only would the Bulls be the best team in EC, but they might just win the whole thing if Lakers don't get their s*** together (and they won't). If I am Iverson, why NOT try Chicago. People here are starving for championships, not only in basketball but as a whole. Heinrich will asume the PG duties and will feed the ball to JC and AI, who in turn will allow EC to post one-on-one which he loves. Candler and JYD's job is defense and rebounds first and foremost. The problem of course is that JC is not a SF and I don't know if Iverson can guard a SG. Maybe JC for Jamal Mashburn? LOL. But the bigger problem is SALARY CAP. Can it be worked around?

Agnus Young has aged gracefully I thought. Funny you should mention Debbie Harry. I saw Videodrome (good movie, btw) maybe a year back or so. And there was this HOTASS broad I couldn't quite put my finger on..... You know who does age pretty well? That Asian toots on ER, Ying Ma or some such-- she is almost 40. So is Stacey Dash of Clueless.
