  1. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jun 11, 2014 -> 07:04 PM) JV is scum. He dumped his high school sweetheart for Kate Upton. he'll eventually have his fun with her and get tired of her like jeter always does with woman, then want to get back with his old gf and she'll take him back because hes rich. /lol
  2. QUOTE (kev211 @ Jun 11, 2014 -> 06:56 PM) Reports now of the heat big 3 all opting out and taking reduced salaries to get Carmelo Anthony to join them. I think that happening would finally cause me to stop watching the NBA. ugh, i just saw that too, on facebook. lebron had previously tweeted this to wade and carmelo: "@DwyaneWade: The beginning... @KingJames @DwyaneWade @CameronAnthony pic.twitter.com/VBxWKCNCaz(And nowhere near the end!) maybe it was a sign haha anyways, if they wanted to do this, nothing could be done about it by the nba right?
  3. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 11, 2014 -> 03:43 PM) To be honest, next David Price is my expectation for Rodon. That's the type of impact player I was hoping for at #3. That he also has a high floor is great, but I want him to be excellent. I agree
  4. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 11, 2014 -> 02:23 PM) Thanks for the link. man, hearing this pitching coach, im officially convinced rodon is the next price lol anyways, remember the cubs saying schwarber was number two on their list after aiken? lol not that anyone believed it anyways
  5. funny how athletes say things, clear as day, then they say how it was a misunderatnding lol frieri said: "We're going to beat (the A's),'' he said at the time. "Get ready to write that. I hate to say this, but they have a little bit of extra luck. If you pay attention every play, it's stupid how the game goes their way.'' and now that it was a misunderstanding lol. ive hated the angels for a while and was hoping the a's would beat them, but hey he was right, so far, winning the first two. i still think the a's win the division though, unless the angels get another good starter
  6. QUOTE (LDF @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 04:16 PM) if I remember correctly, the sox had a deal with alex fernadez (misspell) and then borAss at the last sec up the cost...... that started the whole feud. I believe something to that effect also happen to arod. so the bottom line, nothing is a sure thing with borAss. however I am still holding out for some hope as RockRaines said. also didnt the sox get pi**ed when they were trying to get johnny damon,we thought we were gonna get him, but he was just using their offer as leverage against the tigers?
  7. I don't regret that trade, we all wanted him gone. With his non chalont attitude and lack of hustle
  8. oh, ok ,got it now. thanks. big decision for him
  9. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 9, 2014 -> 02:54 PM) Those be the rules yea i know its the rules, but what specifically? the fact you committed to the school or that you turned down being drafted?
  10. why is it that if de oca commits to mizzou instead of signing with the sox, he cant be eligable for the draft until 3 more years? confused by this
  11. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 8, 2014 -> 08:58 PM) Josh Donaldson did nothing wrong yet got thrown at, beaned, and had a bat tossed at him. what a coward, he was actually trying to get the pitcher(donaldson wasnt at third, got taken out in the blowout), if your that mad, go after him, dont try to act like the bat got away
  12. So there is a big difference when Lebron is on the floor for the last 5min of the game?lol
  13. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 8, 2014 -> 05:34 PM) Abreu in a deep funk. Although he did hit the 2 homeruns against the LAD, he did say his timing was still off. Which it also was when he did those two simulated games. So hopefully he can get going soon
  14. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 8, 2014 -> 05:30 PM) He is a high schoolet. Although Hawk should love that he went 1 or else we likely would have ended with a high schooler. Oh ok I took it as hawk hated that he went one because he wanted the sox to get him and I was going to say doesn't hawk hate drafting high schoolers lol (didn't hear the conversation)
  15. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 8, 2014 -> 05:04 PM) Hawk hates that Aiken went at #1 pick spot. Why?
  16. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 8, 2014 -> 03:53 PM) There are also 6-7 other guys who aren't hitting the ball at all. yea viciedo and flowers really fell off
  17. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 8, 2014 -> 12:22 AM) This should be a 4-1 trip so far.............2-3 keep up the great work RV. And the defense
  18. I have no problem with him starting the 8th but it was obvious he shouldn't have kept facing all those batters. Wow this game was won. It's just really discouraging to know that unless Ventura decides to quit, he's never getting fired
  19. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 7, 2014 -> 10:42 PM) Look, Sale's been incredible, but look at Buehrle's numbers this year. He's been phenomenal as well. It's close I don't know what era plus is but sales is a lot better that marks lol and whip
  20. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 7, 2014 -> 10:28 PM) IIRC, Trout ended Sale's perfect game with an infield single in May of 2013 on ESPN Yup, I remember watching that game
  21. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 7, 2014 -> 10:25 PM) LA has had 3 or 4 balls that could've easily been hits, but Alexei and Eaton have stepped up defensively Trout always seems to hit sale pretty decent , even if it results In an out. Or atleast it seems
  22. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jun 7, 2014 -> 09:39 PM) Red Sox score 1 off Nathan so far. Tying run on deck. 8-5 Tigers lead, 1 out. So awesome seeing him struggle, I used to like him with the rangers not anymore obviously lol i thought is was very selfish of him to blame castellanos for that blown save vs oakland
  23. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 7, 2014 -> 08:49 PM) 947 a.m. here By the way, the Red Sox must have the worst 1 and 5-9 hitters (at the moment) of any team in MLB playing today. Getting to Scherzer again, runners on 2nd and 3rd, 2 outs, down 7-4 in the 7th with a chance to pull within one (Sizemore or PH) or tie it. AL AL in. who would have thought come june hed still be healthy lol although his numbers are awful
  24. Hate these 9pm games ...waiting and waiting
  25. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 7, 2014 -> 02:50 PM) The Twins and Kendrys Morales have agreed to a one-year contract worth a prorated portion of $12 million. That means that Morales, pending he passes his physical, will earn in the neighborhood of $7.6 million this season. No word yet on what a corresponding roster move may be once he does sign, but Jason Kubel is a candidate to be designated for assignment. Per Rotoworld well that didnt work out too well for him or drew lol
