  1. No, but it gives a sliver of hope for the rest of this season to at least be a little interesting. If they lose today, not much reason to even watch anymore.
  2. My man AV! We still have a glimmer of hope!
  3. That's why you should try to get outfielders to play in the outfield.
  4. If they lose today that is the nail in the coffin.
  5. I'm holding out until the end of this game. If they lose, I'm throwing in the towel for this season.
  6. I'm happy he came back raking. That's exactly what they need.
  7. Have yourself a day, Eloy! Still a glimmer of hope!
  8. Yeah, Hahn and the Sox scouting throw a monkey wrench in the works on any plan. But they definitely need to shake things up and infuse a lot of talent into this organization. But you're correct, they failed with their previous attempt at a rebuild and they'll probably screw up their attempt to fix it. Still have to try though, because they're not winning any World Series with this group of players.
  9. Maybe someone will be enticed and think they can fix him. It wouldn't be the first time someone flourished after getting away from this organization. At least try to move him.
  10. No. But they aren't going anywhere with this roster. TA is probably the guy they can get most value for.
  11. TA is probably at his peak value. If the Sox are out of it at the deadline, which it certainly looks like, they should try to trade him for an absolute haul while they still can. Sox aren't going anywhere over the next few years without a major infusion of talent anyway.
  12. I'm glad Eloy wasn't too shy of the net there.
  13. Let me savor the last glimmer of hope for the season.
  14. The weather must be starting to warm up around GRF.
  15. We're still alive, boys and girls!
  16. If they lose today I wouldn't mind if they traded every single player on this 26 man roster. The only problem is that Rick Hahn would be the guy making the trades with the Sox scouts advising him. The Sox are in a no-win situation.
  17. And they give it right back.
  18. Yoan was 4 for 21 in July coming into today's game with three singles and one double. I wouldn't say his bat has been fine lately although I'll concede that is an improvement over his season average.
  19. It's extremely difficult to sweep a series in MLB. Or so I've been told.
