I think It's more than just Garland getting normal rest. They are considering the rest factors for Contreras and BMac. We don't want to stretch BMac's time too much, as he'll be "too rested" if we do.

Ozzie does things that are best for the long term as opposed to just winning today's game. You already know know that Ozzie does not put the importance on this series that the fans do, and honestly, he's absolutely correct. This is just another series if you are focused on winning the division. So ... if Ozzie thinks it's in the best interests of the team, over the long hual, to put Everett in RF today then I have no problem with it.

DJ has improved drastically this year. He seems comfortable in booth now. Previously, he seemed like he was working at it or trying too hard.

I agree with the majority here. I'll pass on Zito. I would have gladly taken either of the other two guys, but not Zito. Why, all of sudden, are we constantly seeing trade proposals that involve Mr. Moneyball?

The firstbaseman, when he has any doubt about his ability to get to bag before the hitter, is supposed to toss to the pitcher. It's the pitcher's job to be there and Garcia wasn't. Garcia's fault. Plain and simple.
