That's been out there about a week now. The Twins aren't exactly jumping on it.

He did ask to leave. He asked the man in charge of the franchise and got permission. Sosa said it was OK.

A parent should NEVER draw attention to himself or try to "be cool" in front of a teenager's peers. Just saying.

I've never been impressed by this guy. But, compared to Billy Koch, well .......

Many people around here have said Finley will only play on the west coast, but that isn't stopping the Tigers from checking out the possibilities. I still think Finley would be a GREAT pickup for the Sox. Said that several times at the trade deadline last season.

I'm not talking about a catcher's bat or throwing arm, I'm talking about a catcher's ability to handle and get the most out of a pitching staff. IRod did quite well in Florida, but that's it. His abilities in that area were very much in question when he left the Rangers. I don't think Detroit's pitching staff turned any heads last year, either.

Until the theory of evolution, it is just that ... a theory. Period.
