The only problem with that is that most Cub fans ACCEPT the Cubs being losers. No Sox fans, either team, will ever accept losing. Stick with the team? Yes. Accept mediocrity or worse? No.

Who can disagree with that. Four out of 6 series go to maximum amount of games. The only that could have made it better would be if we were celebrating the White Sox defeating the Yankees tonight.

I don't think Dusty hurt either of those guys arms. Pitchers used to pitch 250-300 innings every year back in the 60's all the time. I don't recall Bob Gibson's arm blowing out, or Fergie Jenkins, etc. Of course, it did happen then as it does now. So don't throw Koufax in my face.

Like cwsox, I always root for the American League..... World Series, All Star Game, overall w/l interleague play records. By just rooting for the AL to win the overall record in interleague play, that allows to root against teams the Sox are battling in the standings... so it's all good.

If Cleveland promises him the starting 2B job, he may not be be back regardless of what the Sox want to do.
