QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 01:39 PM) I suspect you are right, and that is the smart thing to do. As a fan it's aggravating, but it's the right thing to do. Packers will be in the playoffs every year as long as Aaron Rodgers is healthy. It's also going to be hilarious when the Packers win the division with Matt Flynn as QB.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 12:56 PM) Even if playoffs are on the line next week? He won't start unless he is cleared by the doctors. I could even see the case where they wouldn't start him in the playoffs if they didn't feel he was ready.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 12:45 PM) do you think this is overly cautious care because Flynn has been winning, or do you think something else is going on I think they are being overly cautious because it's Aaron Rodgers. I don't think they want to gamble with any sort of long term damage. I doubt he plays the rest of the season, unless they make the playoffs.

It's not offical yet, but Flynn is starting for the Packers on Sunday. Rodgers still not taking first team reps.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 20, 2013 -> 08:29 AM) The reason I found it funny is both teams are basically the same. Explosive offenses and league worst defenses You could use that to describe about half the teams in the NFL.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 07:09 PM) Howard Eskin was on Mully & Hanley this morning and was extremely dismissive of the Bears, he thinks the Eagles are a way better team than the Bears. I found that interesting At home, they probably are. If this game was in Chicago I would pick the Bears.

Green Bay is supposed to get hit with 6-7 inches of snow Sunday. Should be interesting. I should have bought tickets. Love the snow games.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 02:08 PM) You have Magic Matt still. You probably want Rodgers to say out. These Bears fans don't know what they're talking about. The Bills had Magic Matt and let him slip away.

I lost to a guy who had Jamaal Charles and not much else. He had some players starting that are on IR, but Charles got him 64.00 points.

I'm sick of hearing about QB 4th quarter stats. 4th quarter come backs and stuff like that. Has to be one of the most overrated stats. If you are good in the first 3 quarters, you don't have to lead comebacks.

I've been pretty happy with Xbox One. The way people talked about it, you thought it would be a disaster. I haven't had any issues. Wish more game were out right now, but those are coming.

Per Pro Football Reference the Cowboys had a 99.7% chance to win at half time yesterday. Only Tony Romo and the Cowboys could over come those odds.

Saints are averaging 33 points a game at home and 18 on the road. I have a feeling the Panthers beat them up pretty good next week.

Matt Flynn wins in Dallas. Something Favre and Rodgers couldn't do. Matt Flynn is going to end up having a really weird career.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 12, 2013 -> 11:11 AM) Is there any team in the NFL that would not give up their top RB, WR1 & WR2, & TE1 for the Bears' four? I'm saying straight up all four players, no substitutions. If healthy, which is rare these days. The Packers wouldn't. Lacy-Nelson-Cobb and Finley. Throw James Jones in that mix also.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Dec 11, 2013 -> 12:25 PM) That's what you want to happen. Me thinking that has nothing to do with being a Packers fan. The contract the Cutler or Marshall sign will be the biggest of their careers. Players usually get one big deal, for them this is going to be it. You think Marshall is going to come play for free because Cutler is here. He will get Larry Fitzgerald sized deal. 40 - 50 million guaranteed. Same goes for Cutler. He isn't going to pass up millions of dollars. He will say give me the Matt Ryan deal. They may give the Bears a little break, but they are still getting big bucks.
