  1. When does Roy Williams get his new contract. Come on Bears!
  2. Lions aren't making the playoffs after starting 5-0.
  3. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 2, 2011 -> 03:01 PM) $18 million, $9 mil guaranteed Pretty similar deal that the Packers gave Jordy Nelson.
  4. From Rotoworld: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Vikings are set to release QB Donovan McNabb on Thursday. Bears?
  5. From Rotoworld: Bears OC Mike Martz is reportedly interested in the head-coaching vacancy at Arizona State. Martz spent nine seasons as the Sun Devils' QBs/WRs coach (1983, 1986-87) and offensive coordinator (1984, 1988-91). He's in the final year of his contract with the Bears, having rejected an extension last offseason. Martz's 2012 exit wouldn't be bad news for the Bears fantasy options other than teacher's pet Roy Williams, who wouldn't be invited back.
  6. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Nov 29, 2011 -> 03:33 PM) Easily. The Chiefs damn near beat the Steelers. Anything can happen in the game of football and we have a QB making his 2nd career start. Luckily they might have one making his 3rd career start. Steelers also played awful on offense, on the road. Never good. Bears being at home should win, but yeah anything can happen.
  7. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Nov 29, 2011 -> 02:49 PM) I could do without the constant Green Bay Packers updates, yeah, I heard they were pretty good Did I mention the Packers haven't lost in 346 days.
  8. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 29, 2011 -> 01:36 PM) Well, he just threw three last week... True, but you are playing the Chiefs this week.
  9. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 29, 2011 -> 01:16 PM) To be honest, I think they clinched it the week the Bears beat the Lions. At that point, everyone in the division other than the Packers had three losses. Huge game for the Bears this week. I know all of them are huge at this point, but I think it's key to get Hanie some confidence, get a win under his belt, so he knows he can win playing QB in this League. That will set up the matchup of the century against the Almighty Tebow... I don't know how the Bears could lose Sunday. Hanie would have to throw 4 picks.
  10. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Nov 29, 2011 -> 01:07 PM) I think GB clinched it the moment Cutler broke his thumb and Suh stomped on a guy's arm. I think they clinched it around week 5.
  11. Packers clinch a playoff berth with a win over the Giants on Sunday. Green Bay clinches NFC North division with: GB win + DET loss or tie OR GB tie + CHI loss or tie + DET loss OR CHI loss + DET loss.
  12. I totally forgot about Biff Tannen. Damn.
  13. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 29, 2011 -> 09:14 AM) Say the Lions totally crash and burn down the stretch and go 0-fer. Does Schwartz go on the hotseat next season? Or even this offseason? If they go 0-fer than yes. He will be on the hotseat all next year.

    QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 29, 2011 -> 08:06 AM) If only people got half as excited about election day as they do these fake shopping holiday's the country would be a way better place. This.
  15. For all you Erik Walden fans out there. Walden released on $1000 bond, will revisit case Dec. 7. Victim's story changed, said she hit Walden first.
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 26, 2011 -> 02:24 PM) you think they do that? he has been a pretty big part of the defense hasnt he? He's been solid this year, but not great. I think he will probably get suspended a game or two. This is the first time he's been in trouble. I think.
  17. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 25, 2011 -> 04:41 PM) whoops http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7279272/...ery-reports-say Should be cut.
  18. Harris was in on that play. He came running up to play the run, but he wasn't the only one.
  19. Lions are a dirty team and it all goes back to Jim Schwartz. This is the kinda team he wants.
  20. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Nov 24, 2011 -> 09:40 AM) Let's go Green Bay, kick Detroit's ass today! I agree!
  21. The Packers will now face Orton(Chiefs) and McCown(Bears).
  22. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 23, 2011 -> 01:19 PM) LOL, that is why I said that. You named the other "leading candidate" Wait, was J T O'Sullivan actually being talked about? I was joking. I thought he was out football.
  23. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 23, 2011 -> 12:51 PM) the packers should sign and start josh mccown Per Rotoworld: "Free agent Josh McCown is reportedly the "leading candidate" to be signed as Caleb Hanie's veteran backup in Chicago. McCown is expected to be signed by Wednesday, so he can put in a full week of practice. The Bears needed a veteran who was familiar with the offense, and McCown played under OC Mike Martz (as well as DC Rod Marinelli) in Detroit back in 2006. He won't be a threat to Caleb Hanie's starting job." Happy Thanksgiving!
