On the radio this morning they were saying this Alfanso Soriano - Tigers C. Lee - Twins just fishing great.

It seems like Sweeney has shown more power every year. This team has plenty of power. We'll have plenty of power for a long time. We need good hitters. I think Sweeney will be an excellent hitter, good defender and good baserunner. An all around solid player. Not just a guy who smacks homers and than strikeouts 3 times in a row.

It seems to be more that for whatever reason hes been keeping his pitches up and his breaking pitches arent breaking so well.

I think its impossible to answer right now. We have to wait and see what happens. If mcdougal pitches 4 injury free years for us and Lumsden is nothing more than a 4th man, than we get the better half, but if mcdougal is hurt all the time and Lumsden becomes a 18 game winner than they get the better of it. This is actually a great question for like three years from now. But i trust KW, he has yet to trade away a great pitcher.

Has Mackowiak ever played left field for the Sox? Hell its worth a shot. As long as he's not pleying center field, i'm happy.

maybe once some of our starters ERA's drift into the 7's we can think about mixing something up. you know when were 10 games outta the wild card.
