@RapSheet 2h2 hours ago An interesting name in play at No. 33 for the #Packers: #NotreDame QB DeShone Kizer. GB is getting trade calls, but could stick and pick. This would be extra crazy.

You have to overdraft QB's. Its just kind of how it goes in the NFL. What you gave up isn't that big of a deal if the QB ends up being good. If he's bad, then it's even worse cause you don't have a talented roster. Then you start the whole process over again. I don't disagree with going up and getting a QB. I just don't like the QB they took, but who knows anymore.

QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 27, 2017 -> 06:50 PM) If you're going to pull up an article from a half of a decade ago to support your socialist theory you should at least mention the article dated. That 23.8% tax is ~4% more than an individual with a taxable income of $152K (say roughly 160K salary) a year would pay on their ordinary income. There are people who have to invest and save for retirement because they don't get a government taxpayer paid pension or they're not in a teacher's union. 401k's are harder and harder to come by and people have to make their own retirement instead of being handed a pension that is a burden on society. It's messed up that you would use some story about Buffet with no context whatsoever, and seemingly, no understanding of investing, to push your socialist agenda Warren Buffet donates billions and billions of dollars to charity. Every year, he uses the charity deductions to decrease his tax liability. In the past, he has said he'll always use the max deductions (30% or 50%) to decrease his liability, and in turn, his rate. So yeah, because he has donated billions of dollars to noble causes, he pays a lesser rate than his secretary. That's what giving billions of dollars to help others affords you to do. Having the rich pay a higher tax rate is not "Socialist theory".

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 27, 2017 -> 10:57 AM) I feel like every team's fan base every year wants their team to trade down. Easier said than done. Especially when someone has to trade into the top 5. Very expensive for teams.

The Browns have like 13 picks in this draft. That alone is worth watching. They should take like 5 qb's. One has to be good.
-
This draft should be fun to watch. Really have no feel for where players are going. Could be a lot of trades as well.
-
List of safeties taken in the first 10-15 picks of the draft over the last 10 years is not so good. Would much rather have a lock down CB.
-
What are the odds Myles Garrett falls to the Packers at pick 29?
-
We should tax the rich 100%.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 25, 2017 -> 08:12 AM) Transcript of AP interview with Trump Needs to be read in its entirety to get the full impact imo Rantings of a madman.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 24, 2017 -> 01:32 PM) Rape fantasy essays, his treatment of HRC in the primaries, his failure to condemn misogynist Bernie Bros, calling HRC "unqualified" (if she wasn't qualified, what woman could possibly be qualified?), and now his willingness to overlook someone's anti-choice stance. It's a pattern. An interesting look at Bernie's race for Governor in '86 as well (splitting the diff between the '72 essays and now): Boston Globe Planned Parenthood's analysis: https://www.plannedparenthoodaction.org/blo...e-womens-health Ok. So the one thing you actually post about policies he's voted on is from Planned Parenthood. Who are giving him a 100%. Got it. Other stuff is BS. He treated HRC fine, you know he even backed her when the primary was over. There is no such thing as "Bernie Bros". Also, the "rape fantasy letter" was a essay he wrote on gender roles in 1972. Just ridiculous.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 24, 2017 -> 01:13 PM) Yes. In the context of Trump. But when he was actually RUNNING against a woman, he polled significantly worse. Context matters my friend. Possibly. I would assume he did better with younger women and Clinton did better with older women. I would also like a few examples of Sanders long problematic history on women's rights. I don't want just a "he supported Mello".
-
QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 24, 2017 -> 12:42 PM) Although honestly, having a conversation about Bernie Sanders and his problematic history on women's rights issues with a bunch of straight dudes probably isn't the best use of my time. Lmao, his problematic history on women's rights issues. Poll: Bernie Sanders country’s most popular active politician He's polling better with women than men.
-
QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 24, 2017 -> 12:03 PM) Yes, because saying someone prioritizes one thing over another, that's equivalent to saying he's AGAINST the latter. GMAFB. You're not that dense. Maybe, but even saying he "prioritizes" economic issues over women's rights is ridiculous. You also say that as if these two issues are somehow totally separate from each other and are not deeply related.
-
QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 24, 2017 -> 10:55 AM) This is old news. At least 4 days ago news. And it coincided with his diss on Ossoff. It's part of why I was so pissed about the latter situation. Fortunately, enough people like me tweeted the hell out of it that it forced him to change his view on Ossoff (at least publicly). As for Mello, I think Bernie has always been this way. He's always prioritized his economic policies ahead of everything else, including human/women's rights, and I'm glad people are seeing that now. Bernie Sanders is against human rights. He also hates women.
-
QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 20, 2017 -> 03:17 PM) BTW I'm so completely sick of Bernie Sanders. Bernie Sanders’s strange behavior What a bulls*** article. Figures Democrats would "be sick of Sanders". Why would you want to listen to the politician with the highest approval rating in the country. Maybe they should get sick of Pelosi of Schumer.

Can't wait to lose more elections.

Imagine being so dumb, you go to Auburn and tell them football is bad.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 11:28 PM) Looks like momentum of the Communist Party candidate has ebbed...was really looking like a threat there recently. Atlanta Journal Constitution and CNN is calling the race a runoff with Handel http://www.ajc.com/news/state--regional-go...UrCagElSrSAyFJ/ June 20th date, lots can change between now and then, but odds at best have to be about 25% for DEMS now Regarding the French election. I Would love to see Jean-Luc Mélenchon pull this off. He has some great ideas.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 03:49 PM) Ugh apparently Trump called to congratulate him on it. Feel real bad for a lot of people in Turkey right now. Right-wing populism is sweeping the globe and is going to cause an awful lot of suffering. French election on the 23rd is going to be a big deal.

QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 03:29 PM) Your post would look a lot better if i didn't indict both sides in the post that precedes yours. Don't let reality get in the way of your agenda though. My agenda is anti-fascist, and anti-white supremacist. Whats yours?
-
QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 03:17 PM) I love how the people in this thread think one side is guilty and the other isn't. They're both guilty. The difference is that ANTIFA crashed a free speech rally because they don't like free speech? The woman you're all defending was seen carrying around a wine bottle and defended ANTIFA people throwing an M80 into crowd that blew up by an old lady. Take your partisan hats off, these people are savages. Antifa = savages Neo-Nazi = free speech enthusiasts.

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 03:04 PM) That you can see in that few seconds of clip. Just what the f*** to you think she was there for? Decoration? What do you think he was there for? I know it's hard for you to say anything bad about them, but it seems like he was looking for a fight.
-
QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 01:40 PM) yes, she should have never went there looking to instigate violence. She should be punished severely. Also, just to be clear on this. This woman never touched the guy who punched her. She didn't grab him or anything. There was a scrum when a group of white supremacist attacked antifa protesters. This dude singled her out, ran up to her and punched her in the face. Then he ran away.
-
QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Apr 18, 2017 -> 12:34 PM) Damn straight. Dick or p****, you go after someone looking for a fight, you get a fight. What if she had a weapon? Would he have been OK to hit her then? What if he was a gay black social worker instead of a white guy with bad politics? Antifa has a history of putting its female members up front and hiding behind them so that when they get hit in the ensuing clashes they can cry to the media about hot a woman got hit. Screw that, they are there for a fight. They got a fight. Lmao. Wut?
