QUOTE (SoxAce @ Oct 20, 2016 -> 02:42 PM) I thought it was Ty Montgomery? Montgomery is going to play in the backfield as well, but he is a WR. So I don't think he will get a lot of carries. I think he will be used more like a 3rd down back.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 20, 2016 -> 01:13 PM) Don Jackson won me some money in college fantasy football. Turns out nobody really picks players from U. of Nevada. Just you and the Packers. Is he any good? You never know with RB. He could rush for 125 yards tonight. He could also rush for 25.
-
Eddie Lacy's weight has nothing to do with his ankle injury. Packers starting RB tonight is Don Jackson. This dude is really good, let me tell ya. I have no idea who he is.
-
Lmao. I'm counting the days until this is over.
-
Bears and Packers have a combined 24 players on their injured lists. Now they have to play on three days rest. These Thursday night games are a joke. It's probably going to be an awful game too. 13-10 or something like that.
-
But, then you remember that Russ Feingold is probably back in the senate.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 13, 2016 -> 10:53 AM) For some reason, Donald Trump is apologizing to Serbia for the NATO/US intervention to stop the genocide in the 90's. Why in the world would he bring this up three weeks before the election? So bizarre.

Why The Super Mario Bros. World Record Has Been Broken So Many Times Recently It's crazy watching this guy play. Every jump is perfectly timed.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 10, 2016 -> 01:26 PM) FREE COLLEGE FOR ALL!! FREE HEALTHCARE FOR ALL! FREE EVERYTHING FOR EVERYONE! Ugh his campaign was all bulls***. I don't miss the primaries. Right? What does he think we live in the Soviet Union or Venezuela?!?!

Pence is just as bad as Trump on most issues. In some cases he's actually worse. He's just not a screaming lunatic.

Saying that these are both "s*** Candidates" and "is the best we have to offer" is putting them on the same level. One candidate is underwhelming and the other is an absolute nut with some fascist ideology. I don't like a lot of Hillary Clinton's ideas, but she is a normal candidate. She is no worse then almost every other major candidate that has run for office. The other one is crazy.

Golfing jokes about the president are always totally original and funny. Does Hillary Clinton golf? There has to be a email/golf joke out there somewhere!

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 20, 2016 -> 02:03 PM) How was parking? I'm not sure about street parking, but if you didn't mind paying it was fine. Paid 20 bucks and it was three blocks away.

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 19, 2016 -> 04:40 PM) Did anyone go to Riotfest? I went on Sunday. Mostly just went for Bad Religion and Misfits. Both were good. Watching the Misfits was a little bit surreal at first. Also saw Rob Zombie, not a huge fan, but thought he was pretty good. He probably sounded the best out of all the bands I saw.

@PFF_NateJahnke GB's David Bakhtiari has gone 453 pass-blocking snaps without surrendering a sack; longest current streak for a LT That will get you 51 million dollars.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 15, 2016 -> 11:55 AM) Didnt they move Riotfest so that this problem would be reduced? I think this the second year they are having it at Douglas Park.
-
Did anyone go to Riot Fest last year? Is it a mess to park around there during this?

Outside of the Broncos trying to kill Cam Newton on the field, it was a really good game. I liked that the Broncos were constantly trying to hit Cam in the head and there was no warning of ejection of anything, but the guy doing a little post touchdown dance got flagged and they told him if he danced again he would be tossed.
-
Not sure any guard is worth that, but at least he is younger.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 7, 2016 -> 10:07 AM) Me and some buddies combine to do a pretty high money survivor pool every year. We have to pick 2 teams a week. Seattle is our lock, the 2nd one is being debated like crazy. I'm leaning GB but not confident in that at all. Any thoughts? I don't think GB is a good pick. This week in general is pretty tough to pick. Maybe Indy or Philly.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Sep 6, 2016 -> 10:15 AM) Also, I never said he was a bum. I also never said that they should live off free agency. I said it would benefit them to add a guy or two once in awhile. Especially when the roster has holes, they are a super bowl contender, and have loads of cap space. You see loads of cap space and think sign free agents. They see it as they have a ton of players who they need to resign. David Bakhtiari, Eddie Lacy, TJ Lang, JC Tretter, and Micah Hyde. Because they let Sitton go and didn't sign any big name free agents, there is a pretty good chance they can bring all those players back.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Sep 6, 2016 -> 09:36 AM) He must be bad if the genius Ted Thompson got rid of him. The same Ted Thompson who has had 2 of the greatest QBs of all time and has 1 SB appearance in his 11 years on the job. The Packers are a really good organization but the slobber fest that people have over TT is crazy. Their team isn't loaded with homegrown talent because they are all great. It's because they don't cut any of them. They don't use free agency which is generally a sound strategy but carrying over $20 million in space every year for a SB contender with holes doesn't really make any sense. He got the QB position right though and it covers up a lot of holes. GoSox, this isn't directed at you. You seem like a good fan and you are a good poster. I just don't really understand the Ted Thompson thing. I never really have. This guy has only won 1 Super Bowl as a GM and 1 as a director of player personnel. Been a part of playoff teams almost every year. Total bum. I know a lot of teams that what kill for 1 Super Bowl win and to be a contender every year. Ted Thompson has his faults, but he is still one of the best GM's in the game. That's not just my opinion. This whole thing with Sitton may come back to bite them, but I will give Ted Thompson the benefit of the doubt for now. I can't think of one player that he let go who ended up still being great and the Packers looked dumb. Marco Rivera Mike Wahle Scott Wells Aaron Kampman Greg Jennings James Jones Charles Woodson Tramon Williams He was second guessed on all of those. None of those players did much when left. So Sitton may be great for another 5 years and the Packers look dumb, but I would be more willing to bet he doesn't finish that deal with the Bears. Also, the Packers have a lot of homegrown talent because they draft well. Free agency is not a sound strategy, I wish Thompson was a little more active, but outside of the Broncos, most teams that live off free agency are bad and stay bad.

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Sep 6, 2016 -> 08:15 AM) Josh Sitton gave up 8 QB pressures all of last season. The guard they are replacing him with gave up 9 QB pressure this preseason. He didn't look great in preseason, but it's preseason. He looked fine last year when he had to start two games. I'd say right now he might be a better run blocker than Sitton. Needs to work on pass protection.

QUOTE (shipps @ Sep 6, 2016 -> 08:00 AM) Brad Biggs was saying on the radio this morning that even the Packer players are curious and looking for some sort of explanation as to why a guy like Sitton would be cut. Packers just don't value the guard position that much. Mike McCarthy yesterday said they value some positions more than others. So the Packers cut a player on the wrong side of 30 who has seen his play decline last year and this preseason. They have a young guard who they think is ready to go. They save almost 6 million dollars which will almost certainly go resigning their LT. I still think Sitton is a good player, the Bears aren't getting garbage, but I don't think he is a top 5 guard anymore.

Can Clinton corner Condi, Kissinger? Nevermind, she actually reached out to him for an endorsement. This is election is just so much fun and awesome. I hope it never ends.
