  1. @RobertKlemko Cobb said the final play was not an actual playcall. Rodgers just told each receiver what to do, like a kid drawing in the dirt. Seriously. Wut?
  2. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Jan 16, 2017 -> 12:32 AM) f***ing Mason Crosby, squeezing in 2 FGs that were heading wide. I thought he missed both of those at first. The 56 yard one looked like he shanked it at first.
  3. Cowboys aren't gonna get much for him. Teams know they have to move him and with that contract plus his age and injury history. 3rd or 4th round pick.
  4. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Jan 12, 2017 -> 09:44 AM) I wonder if Phillip Rivers retires now. He said before, LA is no place to raise his kids. He detests LA. As far as the Chargers, if they're good, LA fans will show up. It's funny though, the two teams LA didn't want, they got. While Vegas might get the team they didn't want. They could probably trade him. Denver or Houston would probably run to the phone to make that deal. Shame the Chargers can't get more fans. They've been a pretty decent team over the years.
  5. I could go crazy with links about all the cool things they are doing in Finland. It's definitely a country I'd like to visit soon.
  6. @dominicholden 17m17 minutes ago CNN’s Jim @Acosta said on the air that Trump’s team threatened to yank him from press conference if he tried to speak up again. One day Trump will just take questions from Breitbart. His own personal propaganda website.
  7. Besides that whole press conference being stupid and embarrassing. The way Trump treats the press is pretty worrisome.
  8. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 11, 2017 -> 11:10 AM) Do people believe that Sessions said that pot comment in seriousness? When I heard it, it sounds like someone who was being totally sarcastic. Please note, I'm specifically referring to that comment not other aspects of Sessions. I would take it as a bad joke if wasn't coming from someone with his record on civil rights.
  9. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 10, 2017 -> 11:46 AM) Everyone underrates QB's leading up to the draft and then switches to probably overrate them a bit when the draft happens. Last year was an espically weak class and the 1-2 picks were QB's. I can't imagine anything other then that going down this year, and it might actually be three. I don't know if they will go 1-3, but there will probably be 3 qb's in the first 15 picks or so. Four, if Josh Allen declares.
  10. Sessions gets his ass kissed from fellow republicans and some great jokes by funny man Lindsey Graham! Democrats are cowards and so we probably get AG Sessions confirmed with ease. A man who thinks the worst think about the KKK is they smoke pot and thinks the NAACP are communists. I think we are in trouble here folks.
  11. Also the concerns about Winston was that he was not that accurate and turned the ball over. Those things haven't gone away in the NFL. In 32 games he has turned the ball over 41 times and is completing 59% of his passes. He has shown potential, but until then he is Jay Cutler. Watson has similar concerns.
  12. Watson is almost surely going to be over drafted. Not sure I would take him in the first round. Not sure he is accurate enough to be an NFL QB.
  13. I have no idea how the Packers are going to stop the Dallas offense. Rodgers may have to throw 4 touchdowns again.
  14. Tyrod Taylor is a nice back up QB. Nothing more. If you don't think any of the qb's in this draft are going to be good, then don't take one. Odds are though that one of them is going to be good and the Bears might have a shot at all of them. You have to trust that Ryan Pace can pick the right one or not take any of them if he feels they aren't worth it. It's not an easy choice to make. Bet the Browns are wishing they stuck with the number two overall pick last year and taken Carson Wentz.
  15. That Star Trek movie was bad. It was just terribly boring. I can't even remember what it was about.
  16. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 5, 2017 -> 09:16 AM) I don't want Garoppolo. Perhaps he is good and worth the risk, but I'd rather Bears just build a formidable base like Texans/Vikings/Raiders then take shots at finding a QB vs trying to recreate Colts. I think you have to find the QB. Nothing else matters. The Vikings team and Texans team both have a ton of talent and pretty much can't do anything. Texans stumbled into the playoffs, they are at -49 net points this year. Colts have pretty much done as bad a job as you possibly can in drafting and adding players and still finished 8-8.
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 3, 2017 -> 10:27 AM) It really isn't though. We have seen the Dems rally behind winners like Fidel Castro, Che Guerva, and Iran in recent years. The whole Machiavelli thing is just disgusting though. But that is the overly simplisitic political system we have apparently put into place now. Lmao. 2017 is going to be so much fun! Oh, and Che Guevara died 50 years ago.
  18. I don't really like to get into the "who is the best QB" stuff. You could easily make cases for several different qb's. I get to watch Aaron Rodgers play for the team I root for. So that is good enough for me. I don't know if he is the best ever, he might not even be the best this year, but some of the throws he makes are unbelievable. That TD to Allison was one of them. Watched a Vine of it about a dozen times and it's still hard to figure out how he did that.
  19. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 2, 2017 -> 06:30 PM) Brady has played in 31 (22-9) playoff games compared to 14 for Rodgers, who is 8-6. Rodgers is great but not in the GOAT conversation yet. In one of those playoff losses for Aaron Rodgers he had 423 yards passing, 4 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown. In one of those playoff wins for Tom Brady he had 239 yards passing, 0 touchdowns and 2 INT. You could flip those stats for each player from different games. Not saying who is better, but playoff record has almost nothing to do with it.
  20. The dumb - Him trying to explain computers and security. The dangerous - Pretty much telling Israel they can do whatever they want. Next four years are going to be a nightmare.
  21. If you were picking like 17th. I'd say go for it, but not top 5.
  22. There is no such thing as "system qb's" in the NFL. Matt Cassel was an average QB talent who had a good year and a team overpaid for him. He actually had his best year with K.C.
  23. Well, that is just f***ing awful.
