From a NYY forum: Ha, CQ is 'the other guy.' A title of honor worn by the likes of Jose Carreras, Garfunkel...

in ST, most of us would be OK with him just hanging tough against a lineup like this. right now however, we're all looking at this kid wanting him to be an ace really tonight shows though how much of his problem seems to be mental. 1st inning and then again when first coming out of the rain delay... relaxed, low pressure, doing just fine.

2008 White Sox Catch-All Thread
Really random but... can anyone remember that Frank Thomas baseball card that shows him as a little leaguer? looking like Gary Coleman and what not? looking for it online to show someone. was it Classic?

Crede and Free Agency
QUOTE (Frankensteiner @ Apr 23, 2008 -> 09:41 PM) I would never, ever give Joe Crede a long-term contract extension. Not with his back, injury history, and inconsistency. If he continues to have a great year, then great. Thank the baseball gods everyday. Hopefully it get us to the playoffs and we can be happy. But he's not the type of guy you would ever give a 5yr/$75M contract. That's just crazy. isnt it pretty much one big injury in his past and now he's over it?

Jose getting into a nice groove. Back in ST, we would have all taken this kind of production from him, easily.
